You won't be getting any notification on the dispatch (Actually it purely depends on the Showroom you have booked). You can contact the showroom to get the details on your bike.

In the mean read more about the bike here in this thread. Seriously a useful thread.

    Thanks

Don't worry much just keep in touch with the dealer. It's never going to be an online shopping experience where you can track very frequently.

Then patience bro . Don't worry about getting delayed on your bike's delivery.

You may even get a BS4 compliant bike too. Cheers

As you all know, I've booked an ABS Repsol bike. Only been 4 days and I'm already jittery. I've been thinking about a few things. One is that I forgot to tell them I want MRF tires on the bike. I'm not sure if they can though. Also, anybody know what the internal process is after booking a bike? Will the ASC contact me when they ship the bike? I don't know what to do in this wait period! How did you guys manage this? Also, I read something about stickers that need to be provided with the bike? I checked my brochure and there's nothing on it to indicate that. Is there any way to find out?
Yes, the feeling is like getting married for the "first" time. It's always exciting and jittery at the same time. Most CBRs come with MRF and Contigo both, it purely depends on your luck. We happen to see lots of new CBRs with Contigo and MRFs, so it's purely a matter of the state of manufacturing of the bike and what was available at that time. Secondly, no they won't disclose the dispatch details. It depends on the dealers, some let you know the bike has been dispatched from the factory side, or they are being unloaded to their warehouse, purely at the discretion of the showroom folks.

Stickers, this makes me think, this is for the REPSOL Edition. The normal ones, never came with any sticker offering, perhaps the 26 and 93, for the new Repsol Edition. But if you guys do get the sticker, keep us posted.

Thirdly, keep the thread glittered with good quality pics of your motorcycle.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I booked mine on Jan 27th. ( Kun Honda )
Visited once to the dealer regarding the status ( last week ) they informed me that the new load will start by Feb end.
But to my surprise, got a call from the dealer stating that the Bike has left from factory and told me to come finish the Bank and other document stuffs.

            For the MRF tyre thing,

Only the TOP END model will get that.
Even the newer CBR Red/Black/White comes with Contigo tyres only.
The sales manager told me that 99% i will get it with MRF tyres as its the TOP END model.

            For the Sticker thing

Visit Honda website and download E-Brochure of our bike, you can find it written on the 2nd page bottom in small text.

              Hey guys

I just booked a red (plain red not the one with black and white stripes) color 250r (ABS) today in chandigarh. After going through some of the lasts posts confirming the BSIV complaint engines are coming I'm really doubting my sales manager who told me that CBR is already a BSIV complaint as it is fuel injected and only carbureted one needs to be updated. Knowing he's fooling me I ignored and kept listening to him what all he has to say. I enquired him about the tyres and he said the bike comes directly from thailand so if you are lucky you will get the MRFs instead of Contigos. Not sure why he's lying about the BSIV thing. I'm writing a mail to honda to confirm the same. I pushed him for some discounts but there is none but be agreed to give a helmet and a tank pad with the bike.

As for the waiting period as I wanted the red color he said he will mail the request to Honda for it but when the production for the next lot will begin even he's not sure about it.

Plain RED looks stunning.. But you can also try for HRC or get the Repsol.
New Repsol is more eye candy and refreshing..

Thanks bro I'll ask the sales person tomorrow. Also I have mailed Honda about the same. Expecting a response soon.

If there is sticker then we will be getting at the time when they give us the owners manual I guess.

Directly from Thailand? Ask him if one of his relative is bringing it from Thailand
The Cbr is made & assembled here in India. And yes you could end up with either of the tire brands.. one probable reason being they put on whatever they have in stock on that particular day during assembly.
As for the BS IV confusion, you could ask him to show you a copy of the invoice/owners manual or RC of a recently sold cbr.. The RC will usually mention the BS rating. At least the RC's I have for my bike do mention it.
Let's see the reply from honda on your query.

Honda did some magic with their earlier color schemes. My personal favorite was, well all the colors, the silver, the black and the red, the candy red just stood out wherever it went. Such a lively color. The pure black was invincible, and sexy as a ninja warrior. Probably "Pulsar 220 Speed Line" doped engineer thought, well hey, why can't I add some stickering and refresh the line, because, no matter what I do, I ain't gonna get a better paycheck. Result? Bird poop marked speed lines, ended up spoiling the entire CBR 250 color palette.

Currently, the CBRs come with this "lovely" speed lines in all their basic color (apart from Repsol) and not the pure ones. Secondly, to those who are confused of CBR being imported from Thailand and Made in Thailand, no. They were completely made here in India for domestic sales. CBR 250 was also being manufactured simultaneously in Thailand, serving their domestic as well as exported to other countries. Though some electronic parts were sourced from Japan, earlier models they were for most part, 90% locally made and manufactured. In fact, the CBR was conceived for the Indian and Asian markets only, later they started shipping worldwide.

                          Cheers!

You missed the tricolour and HRC edition. Both are good and HRC is an eye catchy. Black though sexy attracts dust a lot. There is one down my apartment and is covered in dust each and every inch. At present , repsol is the best out there.
BTW I'm just thinking (dreaming ) if HMSI will bring the 29PS cbr250r here as a part of BS4 upgrade. I read somewhere that the 2017 edition is Euro 4.The vehicle doesn't have much changes compared to Indian edition. Don't know why they are not ready to bring her. If they bring her here , will be good for future buyers like me.

I also thought the same.If the dealer is providing you a red color make sure it was not an old display bike or one which was lying in their warehouse (rusted and not maintained).
