Am paying around 1.5L as down payment to get the bike..

one of my friend told that, they will give priority to people who pay full cash and for EMI they make them wait in Q..
Same with most Royal Enfield Dealers.

Why not wait for BSIV complaint engine? I guess honda will have to come with new engines starting this april? I'm planning to wait for it

            it's the government rules.

From April 1, 2017 all manufacturers must make their engines BS4 compliant. It's mandatory.

Thus all engines manufactured from April onwards will have BS4 standards.

It may also result in a tad less power or tad less F.E .

The CBR at 6th cog at around 6k RPM would be close to 110+. Now, 6th cannot be overrevved, the gearing is such. Also at 6th cog the the surface/plane of the road plays a big role. Lower inclined roads tend to increase the speed and a slight uphill plane would reduce the overall vehicle speed. A plane road would yield 110+ on the speedo.

                    Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Maybe my bike is different, but it does 100kmph at 6100 RPM.

For me its 111kmph at exactly 7000rpm I feel this is a sort of sweet spot, for my weight n height 6ft 2 , 95-100kgs.

Don't know about the power but it's supposed to increase FE as BSIV will now reduce fuel loss

With the stock setup, 250 does multiples of 16 (6th ratio) for a given number. For eg. 6x16=96 and 7x16=112. At 100 it should do around 6250 to be precise.

Shall I change it or is this ok to operate ?

P.S. My bike is 2011 model I don't recollect changing the radiator before.
