But k&n has a stock replacement air filter correct? I understand that performance are meant for the track n all but the stock replacement? What's different from it n the OEM one? Also there's BMC stock replacement Also.

Yes, K&N have a plug and play air filter that costs close to 5200 rupees. For what it's worth, it's totally not going make any impact on the engine performance. FWIW, stock motorcycles already run on the leaner side from the stock setup due to emissions norms. Through proper fuel mapping, you can adjust the amount of fuel that goes with w.r.t to the air that goes in. PGMFI, as opposed to non-programmable,, solid burned ECU. Though FIs are very good at transitioning/adapting the amount of air and adjust the fuel flow accordingly, there is as threshold as to the amount of air that goes in, too much air and it will run lean.

Bottomline, stick to stock and clean/replace periodically as to stipulated intervals, which should serve the purpose well long enough.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

Today i just went straight to Showroom regarding the delivery issue and false information..

Straight away i had a talk to a incharge over there, he said It will take 15-days for RTO process.. i replied him back, am i buying a Private Jet or what?

Then he told me to wait for few min, then the showroom manager had a talk with me regarding the issue..

He explained me what went wrong and what exactly going on..

He suggested me to take the Repsol STD variant as its readily available and by Wednesday i can deliver it.. We just need to update the pricing in our Database as this is our 1st STD variant, so we need to get pricing details from the head office.

As for ABS variant, i need to wait another 15~20 days more on it cos the new load might come with BSIV engine or not.. And we may face some RTO issue due to BSIV..
so he suggest me to go with STD variant which is readily available and i wont face any issue with registering the bike..

        Update on Sticker kit

The buyer will get the sticker kit along with the bike during delivery or while handing over the user manual and other documents..
Am attaching a pic below of it.

So which one it is going to be, STD or ABS?

I really do not know what issues they might be facing in getting BSIV engine, but given RTO is a government department changing few things may take time. I suggest you to check with some other dealer regarding this RTO thing if you are keen on ABS variant.

Am ok with STD variant. my previous bike was 200 NS which had bybre setup and it was ok for me..
So am taking the STD variant which is readily available at the dealership which i booked for..

Mainly going for CBR right now is for its Repsol paint scheme.. else would have gone for Domi or duke 250..

k&n or any other brand for that matter (more so these 'performance' enhancing brands) 'stock' replacement filter means that it fit's in without any mods to the air filter box. it doesn't mean that it performs like a stock filter. these essentially allow more air in than a stock filter and make the bike sound different.

i believe you wont get any change in sound when you switch from Stock Air filter to a stock replacement filter from K&N or BMC..
Your bike will be able to breath better and your bike will feel alot responsive..

Dont ever think of going to a conical air filter, it will damage your throttle body.. its not suited for our dusty Indian roads

I think it will compliment a FFE very well, I plan to make one and use on the track plus the air filter, heard BMC is good for the track .

that combo might give you a wee bit of a bump, but imo the costs don't justify the output. a improperly designed ffe might also kill the performance.. so make sure you know how to make one or buy one that's known to be reliable.
that's my opinion but your money and motorcycle.. so whatever floats your boat thambi

Make brother have a factory here , we make the Suzuki one make and Suzuki factory racing bikes, have a welder, miller, driller, etc, probably make a stainless steel exhaust, maybe with a aluminum end can, just for the track, otherwise pure stock everywhere else.

Bro if you have money then go for ABS Variant don't go for STD just for Repsol paint... Brakes on STD won't satisfy you like ABS. Talk with the manager again because my showroom person said that they just got the new load and this will be the last one BS3. Either wait for BS4 or go for ABS Repsol.

Do NOT go for non-abs CBR if its a matter of few days. The brakes on the non-abs are not satisfactory.
