Like someone said before too frequent movement of the mirrors cause them to become loose and you have to remove the complete RVM assembly from the fairing to tighten the locking nut. If the ZMR's RVMs sit on the SF's baseplate normally or with the help of washers, well and good! Thanks for the suggestion. I wanted to get a china copy of one of the Rizoma universal fairing mirrors unfortunately not a single one is available here.
Okay. CBR and ZMR mirrors are interchangeable (ZMR has a shorter stem). Please see the below pics of ZMRs RVM assy for reference and sorry everyone for the OT on CBR's thread. That would be the last from my end or I'll take this over PM.

      Hi Friends,
One of the blue LED lights in the speedometer stopped working. Is there any quick fix? I checked with the service center and they say the entire unit has to be replaced which would cost Rs. 7000.

      Thanks,
      A Amarnath

A quick fix for this issue?

You can go through this thread(i.e use search), there was a post done on how to replace the blown LED light in the instrument cluster. But its no easy task, and require good/better soldering skills. If you can find such person or shop who does this, then you can try. Again the complete process is time consuming job.

Please pardon my questions, but -
            How old is your CBR?
Did you change the battery or are you still using the oem battery?

              Hi Leech,
              Thanks for your reply!
Mine is 4 years old. I bought it used a month back. I was aware of this issue when I bought it.
The battery is Exide. I'm not sure if the battery was changed by the previous owner.

              Thanks,
              A Amarnath

                  Hi Amarnath,

This is a common issue with CBR250r, recently even I brought a used CBR250r and had a same issue and got it fixed in the below address mentioned. It doesnt have anything to do with a battery.

If you are in bangalore, you can get it fixed easily for 800 INR at Kalasipalya. Lot of CBR owners have got the work done and it takes an hour to have it fixed.

Address is : National meter works, Kalasipalya. You can try google maps to reach there.

                  Hope it helps.

Do we have to remove the console ourselves or will that shop take care of everything?

The shop guy will take care of it, it takes about an hour to finish the job. This guy workmanship is too good and after having that fixed , no issues whatsoever.

My console led hasn't conked off yet, but it flickers when headlights + horn is used, or headlights + indicators is used.

I was wondering if the battery is inadequate for the load, but it still flickers when I upgraded to a 9 ah Amaron, but to a slightly lesser degree.

Seems like you may have a hitch in your electrical - get the circuits tested, the circuit breakers cleaned and reinserted, check for wire kinks, etc. By the looks for it there's a loss in amperage somewhere in your circuits. Nothing to worry about, it's not going to bust your bike - just increases circuit load because there's an unexpected resistance somewhere in the circuit!

                                Hello fellow riders,

I was looking to upgrade from my Classic 350 and have my eyes on the CBR250R and the Mojo.
Mainly I'll be commuting (mostly highways) and once in a month or so will go for long rides (400km+)

Now the problem is that I got a test ride of the Mojo but at Honda they do not have a test ride bike so cannot test before buying. Does anybody have any idea where I can get a test ride of 250r in Mumbai ??
