As per my earlier experience with FI bike o. R15v2 it didn't have this behaviour . If warmed up rpm will not rise in each crank .
ECU isn't perfect. It makes mistakes, especially the cbr250 ones. Sometimes it floods the engine too.

The 2013+ models had a remapped ECU for a leaner engine. I do not possess enough data on this, but since there were no changes in emissions law in 2012/13, I think the previous bikes were running slightly rich maps, which could cause engine flooding more often.

My bike has experienced 6 flooding instances in 4.5 years of ownership.

The picture is highly pixelated and hence not clear. However, the clean look is due to the usage of fender eliminator. You can search in google for CBR250R fender eliminator and get a lot of videos. Personally, I am not a fan as this might throw up a lot of slush on people riding behind me on a rainy day.

Also, if you use a fender eliminator, at least use a tyre hugger.

I won't acknowledge with the air filter thing

During my second service the mechanic asked me to replace air filter in another 2k kms as it's almost gone. At that time he cleaned it with compressed air and put it back.

My bike's current odo is 7.5k now and my air filter is almost gone now.

So it seems like it depends upon our surroundings definitely.

What on earth are you talking about? there was nothing even slightly insulting about that post.

It was meant as a joke, given the scores of riders out there who go around without fenders spraying mud and water on anyone behind them. sorry if I offended you

btw, does anyone know any good painters in Bangalore? Want to get my 250 painted black

Same has happened with mine. On my second service, the mech checked my air filter and asked me to change in another 2.5k. He too cleaned the filter with air pressure and put it back on.

I will use it on summers and winters. Btw if u noticed that the stock fender also sprays water and mud on people behind you and to the pillion also. I know that the mod will increase it but just telling u if u noticed.

But point is whenever I start the bike, even when I shut down at redlight and then restart the rpm rises to 1800-2000 rpm .
I understand this behaviour is good qhen the engine is cold , but whats surprising is this behaviour when the engine is hot .

even with a warm engine it hits 1800 rpm but comes down quickly to 1500 but it does " auto choke" and yes filter interval is 12k however given indian air level i prefer changing at 6k itself. also if the bike is done 20k plus change the fuel filter as well. and start using system-g else ADON-P along with fuel. 1ml per litre.

                            Thanks for the replies ,
Here at Dhingra Honda the mechanic clearly showed me a sticker pasted on the air filter opening area that do not clean Air filter , change it at 12k kms .
I was very much skeptical that how on earth the Air filter can go 12k without even cleaning it . I am new to Honda and CBR , te mechanics didn't even taken the pain to open and check the Air filter condition.
Thanks for pointing out about air filter it could have been clogged as the bike is now. 7800kms and seen much of dusty conditions .
I am seriously looking out for a good and reliable SVC in Delhi NCR , I can 100kms for a good SVC . Any suggestions are welcome , I searched previous posts about good SVC in Delhi NCR but couldnot find any suggestions.

Curious to know a bit more about fuel filter change interval and other important things to check/replace post 20K. I have clocked 21300kms till date and I feel the engine and shifting are a bit rough now, also tires are not in that good shape. So what are the things to check for when the bike has completed 20K and 4years? I feel the followings:

                              1. Change of tires as the stock Conti served me quite well in past 4yrs with zero puncture. But as usual it's bad on gravel and wet roads.
                              2. Change of fork oil as I feel the bike is a bit shaky while braking hard.
                              3. FI wash? I heard this term from a Honda mechanic during my early days of ownership, but I completely ignored it and doubt in such things required for CBR.
                              4. As you suggested change fuel filter. BTW how much doesn't it cost?
                              5. Valve clearance check or any other engine related check?
