As the dealership guy saying this that the extended warranty we can take after completion of 2 years and by paying 700 rupees, so i am bit skeptical on this, as i feel it should be given with the new vehicle..

On extended warranty part, do we get it along with the bike by paying nominal amount or is it like we can have after 2years.Originally posted by Parshu View Post

Both policies are applicable at Honda. You can still have the dealership give the same in writing with their stamp/seal to be doubly sure.Originally posted by Parshu View PostOn extended warranty part, do we get it along with the bike by paying nominal amount or is it like we can have after 2years.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I usually get my spares via OTC route from Maansarovar Honda service center @ Medavakkam center. They have a decent stock of spares and the in-charge ( I remember his name as Anand) is reasonable and also responds on component availability via phone if you know the part number.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys I'm looking for the following items from the image attached, 4,5 and 6 in chennai, they don't have stock at didar egmore anyone else from chennai got any leads? You can get the spares section contact number on google or from their website.
Alternatively, you can PM me the part number and image , I can give a visit to the service center and let you know the availabilityLast edited by gurudevan; 09-05-2017, 03:12 PM.-------Traditions of a religion can never become laws of nature------

Also I changed my right side switch gear at rs.1987 as my headlight switch had a loose connection kept turning off , bike has done 36000kms

No bro, absolutely not. They're metal and have a certain weight. Like, if you lift it, you'll feel the weightOriginally posted by revvharder View PostA question are bar end weights made of plastic?

Bar end weights are made of metal, probably iron or aluminum. Iron is heavier and cheap.Originally posted by revvharder View PostA question are bar end weights made of plastic?

Conesets aren't supposed to get loose frequently as one would say. I'd suggest, you check your coneset alignment once again, meaning if the coneset sits flush with the chassis themselves and get the lock nut/lock ring properly torqued, a loose fork lock nut can cause frequent loosening of the T stem.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys , does a new cone set get loose fast? , Been facing this problem for a bit ever since I changed my cone set , heard it was normal for it to happen, can someone shed some light? Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Extended warranty can be bought with new vehicle or within 1year of ownership . Provided you have done all service in time .
Also the charge with new bike is less and Extended warranty costs increases with time.>>>>Beware of Zombies<<<<

Re: Honda CBR 250R
The coneset was replaced some weeks back , because of my bent fork , this seems the only issue on my bike , otherwise everything else seems to be going fine for 36000kms.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostBar end weights are made of metal, probably iron or aluminum. Iron is heavier and cheap.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Bent fork can cause uneven force distribution and can even end up ruining the race and balls. Get it checked. If I remember correctly, if I replied to your posts quite a few pages back regarding, bent fork, bent T stem, and so many bent items.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostThe coneset was replaced some weeks back , because of my bent fork , this seems the only issue on my bike , otherwise everything else seems to be going fine for 36000kms.
