I think the brake pads on my rear brake are in constant contact with the disc. When I free spin the wheel it really feels like something is holding it back. Also when riding and I release the clutch without applying throttle, engine braking feels excessive.
Brake pads were changed a few months ago, and fluid levels are in acceptable levels.
What can I do?
On all disc brakes, the brake pads will be slightly in contact with the rotor which is normal. When rotating the rear wheels, you might experience some resistance which again is a normal phenomena, as the rear wheel is linked to the chain, the transmission, plus the brake pad all do cause drag and some rotational sounds. Nothing to worry. If you feel your brake pads are wearing at a more rate check your wheel alignment and if required service your caliper piston pins.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
They have no idea when it will start for booking and sale[emoji51][emoji51]
HMSI is giving out little news. If indeed they have stopped production, our CBRs would be endangered species. As it is, parts are difficult to procure.

Grapevine from reliable sources report that the 150 and 250 production is stopped for the time being.
Cheers!

Not sure how trustworthy this news is , but couple of weeks back i was told by a guy from service centre that 250 will indeed come back.
According to him future of 150 is still in dark but 250 is going to come again with minor mechanical changes.
He didn't disclose much but i guess he went to HMSI for training purposes.
Burn the rubber, they said
it would be fun, they said
I had replaced the stock headlight bulb with LED as the headlight was a pain. I used RMD LED 40W, but it turned out to be bad idea as in the past 6 months I have changed 3 LEDs. They all stopped working somehow or the other. I failed to understand why. They all got short circuited.
Now I want to try normal H4 bulb that has white light. Please suggest which one to go for, Philips extreme vision plus 60/55W or Osram night breaker laser 60/55W. Which one is better & where can I buy it in Delhi NCR, as both are available online but the Philips that's available online has no warranty & the Osram has warranty but it's available only as a dual bulb pack. Please let me know.
Dear mods, as I couldn't find a thread for this topic so I've started a new thread. If there's a thread for this topic, pls merge it .
Thanks a lot in advance.

That’s super good news. Let the battle begin between Dominar, FZ25 & Fazer 25 along with NS200 and upcoming Apache 310. [emoji41]
Hello people. Had a quick question to ask. When my bike goes over some minute potholes or anything that is not a plain road, I hear rating sounds from the front side. If anybody here experienced this, could you please share your experience and your solution to it so I can fix mine? Thanks a ton.
Ride safe.
Cheers✌

Front end that is twitchy or produces "khatak" sounds when going over a speed breaker or a pothole or when braking hard, means we have either a loose front end coneset or failed steering stem bearings. One simple solution is put the bike in side stand, ask some one to pull the bike over to the left side so the front wheel is up in the air. Now, hold both the forks and give it firm yet slow shake, if you feel movement in the fork set, like minute movement of any sort, you have a loose front end or failed bearings. Start off by adjusting the front end by tightening the fork nut by a notch which can be done at any local mechanic or SVC.

Guys, I'm hearing a kinda weird noise from the exhaust area. Sounds like some metal plate is loose and is hitting the surrounding area. I've checked the exhaust panels/plates and they fit alright.
Can someone throw some light?
Also the exhaust feels like it'll fall off

Check the band that connectors the muffler to the exhaust pipe, if it's loose it can cause some strange sounds. Secondly, if the cat con inside the muffler has gone loose due to a undone welding, they can jiggle inside and cause weird jingling noises. Have a thorough check and keep them posted.

How much is a respectable amount to pay for HID lights? A shop in Domlur, BLR offered my 32W HID headlamps for 1500. I thought might be a little too good. Thoughts?

HID LEDs are comparatively costlier than their arc counterpart. At around 1500 should be Chinese unbranded ones, so reliability is unknown. But if you'd like to take the plunge as to what they'd offer, I'd say at around 1.5k it's a cheap deal after all.
Cheers!
