I got this pic from a Facebook photography page where model is posing with new Honda CBR 150.
The photographer is from Dhaka n he told that this new model is available in Dhaka. Despite being a photography community, all were excited & asking abt new CBR 150.
I hope Honda launches the same 150 cc model in India.

150 looks fab. But 300 looks weird IMO.

You can probably refer back at Prateek's post, a few pages back. He sourced tank grips from Aliexpress and seems to be having a positive view on it. You can get in touch with him via PM.

Check the wattage, and go for Philips. There are many local people who install HID at a cheaper price if the setup is taken from them. Get it checked.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Bangladesh gets the new CBRs but India doesn't? That's an insult, HMSI.

Aliexpress has a wide varieties of many products for ANYTHING. That is one of the best online shopping destination. And so MANY products for CBR. I will be placing a few items on order @ aliexpress too.

Just an FYI, she completed 2k kms in about 20 days and did the service and well as changed her shoes to Pilot street radials. Anyone using EBC sintered pads here ? Need a review for the rear ones. Have used front ones for Ninja and are immaculate, providing superior life along with better braking. The 3 pot caliper could make it a costly affair though. I find the break pads on ABS are wearing much faster to my liking, and much faster than any other bike I have used.

And regarding the new 150R/300R topic, I think its better to take it away from the thread. If you just search online, you could find multiple sources saying the same, some 3 years ago. Three years later, they still say the same.

How much do good headlights cost? need them for highway rides at night. the stock halogen is no good post 70-80kmh. Any brands to look out for?

btw, you're like CBR guru around here, cheers

You can get LEDs and you can HIDs the former costs more and last longer than their arc counterparts and they are easy to operate as opposed to the HID which takes some time to warm up. Apart from numerous Chinese brands, you have Cyclops that are sold and you have Philips here sold in e-commerce sites, a genuine single Philips bulb alone would cost upwards of 3k. I'd suggest you replace your bulbs to whiter bulbs such as Xtreme Vision for headlamp and use additional LED lamp sets that many members here have installed with good results, if you're budget constrained.

Appreciate the kind words. I would say, there is a whole bunch of hands on fellas hidden around here who are in fact the actual gurus.

Strange! ABS pads do last longer compared to the Bybre counterpart. Mine is an ABS one and braking has always been satisfactory. Personally, the setup is perfectly setup, not too strong nor soft. Right feedback at the lever. Though EBC pads would definitely improved the feedback even more, the stock NISSIN itself is a sintered pair. And I'm not even talking about the noise part.

Now, I found this interesting link

                      And the user feedback..

I bought these pads for my CBR250 which is a pretty small displacement bike but wanted to get some good brakes. Paired it up with a SS line up front.

At first, these pads were so noisy it drove me crazy. I did the break in just like they said and still had the nosiest pads ever. After I would say about 1000 miles they finally got quiet. Just gotta say I am not sure if I would go for it again since I had to deal with all that noise when braking but yeah they do make a world of difference on stopping power and the feel of the brakes.

After the ~1000 miles they are really not loud anymore and are pretty dang nice pads. I was sort of worried about getting HH pads up front as I always ride in the rain and don't like too much instant grip on my brakes since its a non abs bike. Been riding in all the rains recently and they work better than I thought they would in the rain. Not too much instant grip but its smooth consistent grip all the way to your stop.

So overall, gotta deal with the noise for awhile but turned out to be great. 4/5 just because of how annoying the break in period was.

It may be my rotor that caused some of the noise too, not sure. The rotors only had ~18,000 miles on them and looked great and had a weak pad

                      Cheers!

Drained Motul 300V after 7200km of use. Mechanic told that the oil still had some life but the oil level was even below the lowest point in viewing window(even after pouring 300ml of oil at 4000km of use), so I changed it. Performance was still good as I didn't notice any hard gear shift or excessive engine vibrations.

Now I have filled Shell advance ultra. I used this oil an year ago as well. That time I had to drain it at 4K km because of low oil level(maybe because of riding mostly at high rpm). I Would like to know about the drain interval of this oil from people who have been using it. Thanks in advance.

300V is a full synthetic Oil. This oil can last 4X times more than you have covered. Any engine oil gets spoiled because of wear and tear from clutch plates and weak pistons and its rings.

Looks like your engine is burning oil. Try to go for more viscosity oil, so the oil burning comes down. If your engine is burning oil, try to get a 3L/4L can so, you could keep topping up whenever you need it. That would be cheaper than buying 1L bottles.

Engine oil consumption is specific to individual bikes and how they are ridden, so keep topping up whenever its needed.

Hey guys i would like to have my bike a more powerful headlight as stock in not enough during night on the highways. I'm a noob, can you help me with how to go about it. Do I need a bigger battery, which LED light should I use and should I get all the indicatora and tail replaced with an LED?

Thanks, that was a good one. The thing is all sintered pads(read non OEM) have lasted more for me, so I thought I would give it a try, and moreover its a couple of 100's cheaper there in the US of A compared to the OEM ones which are just above 2k for the front. That said, I am immensely happy with the stock braking , superb feel and feedback with a stunning ABS unit in place.
