In your case, you have to change the oil every 6 months if you plan to keep warranty, since you don't ride that often to cover 6000 kms.
@bondarun - if you ride slowly all the time and then try to rip it, you'll find the bike to be lazy; it's happened to me too. Do this to keep your bike on its toes - go to second gear on an empty road and give half throttle till it gets to 10k rpm. Release throttle, let the engine braking slow the bike, then again rip it. This way, the bike will 'learn' to release its power. Same thing goes with top speed runs. You will need 3-4 tries to extract 150-155kmph from the bike if you're a sedate rider.

How good is MRF MASSETER for CBR 250R?

I ride mostly in city, and I leave near to highway in Ahmedabad city where roads are dusty and lil hard braking makes tyres skid (running on CONTIGO!)

DAILY I ride for 30kms and occasionally I go for long tour.

      Requirements :

      - good grip
      -affordable price
      -Less puncture prone
-Good handling and stability on roads
      -reliability
-VFM factor. I don't mind spending 5-6k (rear) for a good tyre, but within its life it shall show its worth
      -suitable for CBR

I have considered some of these :
PSD - No proper good review received regarding CBR
MPSR - good review, overall satisfied only cost is high
MRF MASSETER - confused because it's a Bias-ply tyre not a radial one.
Getting Metz 150 70 17 R for 5K. But mind is telling to avoid that

Don't have problem to go with CONTIGO, still I want to try something new and better.

Please also suggest Front-rear combination I should go for.

      TIA,
      ALLIWANTED😊

If you don't mind spending 5-6k on rear then go for MPSR. I have it currently on my bike and it is really good. Fantastic grip. And VFM too. I spent 5.3k on rear and 4.7k on front, incl. All fittings. So for 10k in total, yeah its worth the money.

And PSD is somewhat on the softer side which provides nice grip but more puncture prone. And the amount is also nearby same to MPSR.

What is price for MPSR quoted? I have been asked to pay 5700₹ for rear and manufacturing week-year was 29-16 (Mid-July)

I paid in total of 10k for both front and rear. Don't quite remember the individual price though. Why don't you buy from amazon? It is much cheaper out there. Check it out.

              For front - https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01C89TY2K/..._JpfWzbF4GCDTA

              For rear - https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01C89TY9S/..._5sfWzb2BMC6CX

              Cheers. ✌

To replace a plug, you need to lift tank if you aren't willing to remove it completely. For doing this, you have to remove both side fairings and side cowls around the tank, rider seat, those plastic covers just beneath the rider's seat and etc...Some guys say that they fix plug by getting down the radiator - I haven't tried it yet. It's a hectic job changing spark plug in 250R.

Guys has anyone felt the rear suspension is slightly soft? Like a little bit of stiffness would be good at the back not a whole lot much.

Yes i felt so, but soft suspension is very good on rough roads, i think. In a place like kerala we dont have many good roads, so the soft suspension will do a better job

I meant slightly stiffer suspension would help? I know the rear on our bike lasts a really long time, compared to some others.

It will help toincrese the handling. And maybe increase high speed stability.

What level is your rear shock set to? I rode on 4 in bad roads, because of my bad back. If it's at 1-3 the seat bounces up and down, hurting me more.

It's been stock from day one, not touched the rear, but thought a slightly stiffer setting would be ideal not too much but slightly, after riding a friend's Duke, how thankful I was for our suspension cause that was bouncing around like a yoyo.
