It's having a calm head, riding within your limits, on a highway the 600 can cruise at 140 to 160 with absolutely no drama considering one doesn't t behave like an idiot inside city limits. You can lose your life in a 100 cc going uncontrollably at 95 KMPH and you could do the same in a 600 going at 85...It's just a thin line.

    I agree and disagree.

83 bhp as you said is very controllable its some 115bhp less than the current litre class bike.

Cruising at 140-160 is not safe in our country. Not yet.

As I said, it's always using ones beans and the discretion to know when and where to use it is all that matters. So, now that we know that, let's close this topic and get back to some wrenching as usual. Would request members not to drag on this topic, anymore.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

Keep me updated on how you bed em , will be changing myself , anything in particular I gotta follow? My use of rear brakes is probably 20-30 % my front does the job mainly cause of the steel braided line. Also guys how do you clean the disc plates with kerosene or something else?

I will update buddy! The plate tends to get really hot but it's only until it beds in. Had noticed this when the bike was new. And AFAIK, there is no need to wash the discs with kerosene and all. Just clean it with soap water when you clean the bike, that should do.

just use some soapy water (like vim dish wash) and a scrubber (like the green scotch brite that is used to clean dishes.)

              Then it's cool. Thanks👍

Thanks for the advice. I've spoken to the cbr mechanic regarding this. I trust the guy. He has done most of my other vehicle servicings too earlier. But then thanks for showing your concern. Really appreciate it man.

Is there anyone on this forum who gave his black 2016 edition cbr for service at Saphire, Jayanagar? Just a thought that the person might be from here
Waiting for the rear pads and rotor to bed in now Odo at 10,060kms.

I have 2014 black edition. I always get service done at saphire Jayanagar , simply because of the lead mechanic Zishan. His commitment and dedication towards work is top notch. For instance , during the Ramzan time he worked on my bike continuously without taking any break. I insisted him to take a break , he carried on as if he didn't hear me. He knows CBR250 in and out. I always insist on Zishan do the job for my CBR at least.
Tom: Aren't you scared you'll kill yourself if you crash?
Burt Munro: No... You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.

Anybody can help me pick a mobile holder for my Lucy? I can't find any space for handle bars, any other methods?

Thanks for the suggestion. But then there doesn't seem to be any space left on the handle bars...

No I'am not talking about the handlebar.
I think there is a blanked out provision for rvm in clutch lever pivot point ( like the ones on normal commuter bikes) .You can put a bolt and attach the holder I sent to you.
Another expensive option is to have ram mount.

That's a great idea. I'll see if that works. Thanks for the help mate.

Can anyone help me to adjust the Clutch play in cbr with some video link or DIY instructions...

and what is the difference in half clutch and full clutch? which is good for B2B traffic conditions?

Right now I pull the clutch lever fully to eliminate any sound during gear shifts...
Will this be resolved by changing the clutch play?
