Re: Honda CBR 250R
Just change your air filter if you want too and definitely get a power box to get the right air to fuel ratios. If you remove the filter cover there will be more dirt and dust entering, which is not good for your engine.Originally posted by sid2499 View PostHey guys, just wondering... Should I remove the filter cover? Will it increase the intake? I have an aftermarket exhaust and thus, want to increase the intake on the bike.

Bumped up the lower end though. I had installed it mostly for the sound cuz people here are zombies and tend to ignore everything coming towards them.

Honestly, power box is very expensive. Like, flashing the ecu is both risky and expensive and I've heard that altering the 250's ecu is not easy...Originally posted by Deathwing View PostJust change your air filter if you want too and definitely get a power box to get the right air to fuel ratios. If you remove the filter cover there will be more dirt and dust entering, which is not good for your engine.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Well you need a fuel controller, it might be too rich. I had a temp, exhaust and I can tell you the same exact thing , bump in low to mid range, slight drop in top end , the sound made a difference in traffic but it's not advisable without a dB killer, also long distance , stock will do the job or a quality slip on which runs on the stock ecu..Originally posted by sid2499 View PostFreeflow😅

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Also on the left hand side of the handle, there is a black colored button type of thing, which if pushed makes a noise , still looking how can pushing a button makes a noise. The button has a trumpet drawn over it, I thought trumpet came free with the bike. I dont know why people use it to tell people that they are there on the road and call it horn.Originally posted by hypheni View PostZombie! LOL! Re: Honda CBR 250R
On a lighter note this so called horn is loosing it's very purpose, most people are deaf to it and people who hear it are not bothered. So once again only people/rider/driver who care about others on the road are sensible enough notice others even without such aids. Seems to be working pretty good, till now. Another thing is that I've made quite a lot of 4 legged friends who are always chasing me whenever I pass them.Originally posted by hypheni View PostZombie! LOL! Do these zombie notice you after you fired up their ear with extra buzz?

Are you doing it by yourself? I got mine's bearings changed at SVC and they had a kind of a front paddock stand..Originally posted by bala13 View PostI have to remove front wheel to change bearings. Anyone know how to lift front end of bike to remove wheel??
I don't want to put car jack under the exhaust/engine.
