The music name is "Soothing", so used it. Check the same channel, you will see, my face, my bike everythingOriginally posted by leech View Post[emoji106] Nice job, but the elevator music really sucks. It does nothing to fuel excitement, the music is more suited for grannies playing with their cats or going through albums of their now grown up kids.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hey Gang!
What has been up! I just passed the 1000km mark with Suzaku. He's turning out to be every inch of the bike I wanted him to be. Went on a short breakfast ride with Ssaajan to a Kamath Upachar nearby. The ride was 57km one way. I've missed these rides! Bloody amazing fun. The roads are absolutely brilliant tarmac, at least 2 lanes, minimal traffic, scenic on both sides, outside the city and such. I was extremely comfortable riding Suzaku. I still can't get over how easy it is to do a triple digit speed on the CBR. I've been on bikes that can do triple digit speeds before and never have I had this kind of confidence inspired in me. The balance, the engine, the throttle response, the mental braking capacity and the smoothness all together just make a phenomenal package. So far, so good. I'm happy with the performance and the ease of use. I touched almost 139kmph and I didn't even realise it. Considering that the claimed top speed of the CBR is 145kmph, I have to say I was surprised to find the bike that relaxed so close to top speed. I do have to say that you possibly couldn't hold that speed all day long(because vibrations - which is why I looked at the speedo in the first place), but I was surprised nonetheless. Especially coming for the RTR, which is screaming in all it's glory at 90kmph, the CBR felt butter smooth.
The mandatory beauty shot of the bikes looking like OGs
And that's what my Odo reads, after the ride
I'm currently running through my third full tank of fuel. Seems like I'm getting a 30kmpl mileage from the bike on city useage. I've decided to plonk on an Osram Night Breaker. Bulb is here, just need to plonk it on!
Cheers!

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Yes better mileage , I personally felt while using the Honda oil, how does the oil hold up in the summer, bike's temperature is fine? I only considered the 40w due to its viscosity, obviously it's more of a track focused oil, will be sticking to the tried and tested for now.Originally posted by leech View PostI think, coming from 10w40, you'll feel the motor to be light, and a teensy weeny bit free revving. Also expect 1-2 kmpl extra.Last edited by Deathwing; 04-10-2017, 01:38 PM.

1. Riding posture - In comparison with P220, is the posture too forward leaned or is it like P220?
2. Do the CBR150R and 250R share the same fairing or the 250's is bigger?
3. Are there any new CBR250 getting launched anytime soon. I Liked the paint schemes of the previous gen CBRs much than the current stickered one, which is a huge turn off for me.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostComing from the 220 days.
Yes, the riding stance is sport. Remember the term sport cruiser
Unfortunately, no the CBR 150 and CBR 250R's fairings cannot be interchanged.
If my "prediction" on this would be true, the CBR can see a slight bump in pricing and rolled out with a new BS IV spec variant.
Spares are not easily available for the most part, and it only aggravates if you happen to stay more than 80 kms one way from the ASS. Make sure the dealer you source it is from is at least a reputed one. Don't ever get a bike from standalone or branches of the big showrooms. They are as good as Bank of Busted ATM with no cash.
Cheers!

Thanks guys! I was under the impression that 150 & 250's have same fiaring. But 250's fairing is bigger it seems. Just went to the showroom. Was informed that BS-4 will be launched soon in new color/stickering. Going to wait for sometime for the launch.Originally posted by Wilson4willy View PostThe seating position of CBR is more towards sportier as compared to P220 but not like an R15. CBR is a sports-commuter.
And about 150R and 250R well both shares a lot plastic parts but not all, i have seen many 150R in my city with repsol and pure black scheme.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
It was my first ride with the baby blade sunday morning. Did about 250 odd kms with a pillion and I am very well impressed with each and every aspect of the bike. It left me with just one impression - "A perfect bike for india." I guess there is no need to explain how it manages to win our heart because everyone here is very well aware of those facts. All i can say js I am happy and satisfied with my baby CBR! Cheers!✌️

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Got my bike 1st service done two weeks back..
Told them to adjust low beam a bit high.. but the mech raised it up too high.
Today i tried doing it myself and end up getting it too low..
Am not able to find sweet spot for it.. :\
Its too hard to adjust the headlight with fairings on..
Anyone know any method to get the right setup?

Re: Honda CBR 250R
A 6 inch Phillips head screw driver and tilt the bikes head to words extream right. Then go vertical from below of left portion of the fairing. Do a bit then ride. Then repeat. You will find sweet spot. It's easy.Originally posted by bondarun View PostGot my bike 1st service done two weeks back..

Pushing this further. If any member can help, kindly do. Thank you.Originally posted by Ave2592 View PostHey guys. Done 1078 Kms in a month on my baby Lucy. I have a slight worry here. Whenever I use the rear brake, the pedal feels as if something is in between the brakes, like something is disturbing the pedal movement. And the bite is lacking Now. Any help? Sorry I am unable to clearly state the brake issue. This is the best I can explain.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys, anybody aware of the location of the neutral switch ?
I seem to be having a problem with it. The neutral light fails to come on even when its in neutral, and the bike fails to start/crank. Had to jump the start in half clutch.
Initially thought it was the battery dying out on me as its almost hitting 4 years in age. But all other switches (horns , lights) seems to be working just fine.
P.S: I did have this almost same problem about 2 years ago, which disappeared just like that.
Cheers
