New CBR should be launched with single color paint scheme.

Thanks. 2015 color schemes were ugly on the 250 and very impressive on the 150.

You will get it from the Honda SVC. But it will only come with the whole unit. (Including engine kill switch.) But will be hard to find the sliding switch alone.

According to India spares website it costs ₹1941. I have compared the price of a few spares with that of svc and they turned out to be identical. So it might cost you above ₹1500 for the right side switch assembly.

This is the oil. I was going to change but then since my bike under warranty, I was advised not to. But then since I got it, thinking I'll change it now. And then next time again I'll fill it with Honda throttle 10w30. 😜
It is not recommended to use the shell brand you have if the bike is under warranty. Since I own a SVC I strongly advice you to change it with the stock oil because unfortunately if anything went wrong in future (even because of any other reason rather than oil) Honda won't be covering your engine warranty. There is a service schedule list for each motorcycle which is sold. Which is identified by the engine and chassis number. At every service an oil change is also included and it is mandatory. The company won't entertain any use of other brand oil rather than stock oil and if that happen that is going to mess with your bike's warranty. (Applicable to any kind of alteration, even a bulb) So I suggest you to wait until the service is done and science its a new bike I don't think it is time for any upgrades or engine vibration problems.

Sorry that was posted in between, I can see that Honda CBR parts are expensive and tough to outsource or even get a mechanic to work on the same. So let's please stick to Honda recommendations up to to warranty threshold.
Can I request you one more time, I need some help to identify the good quality bike cover. Amazon have a couple, but didn't feel good though.

                          Hi Guys,
So it's been only 2 days since I've got my 250r and came to know her better. I did 120 kms ride yesterday with my wife as pillion (max kms that I've ridden till date), so I have few problems and few queries that I've like to get help on:

                          1. I'm feeling a lot of strain on my right hand and it goes numb like after 20kms of ride. Left hand, shoulders are fine. Is it normal since im coming from a commuter bike? And will it get better or worse?

                          2. When I release the throttle to let the bike slow down by itself I tend to slide forward losing the sweet spot on the seat and having to readjust again. Same complaint from my wife riding pillion? Is it normal or should I get a seat cover to avoid slipping?

                          3. I've noticed that the normal foot position on the right footpeg make your toe lie under the brake and everytime to apply the brake you have to lift your feet up which in crucial moment can be risky and in traffic keeping the foot on the brake lever is tiring as it's not the natural position. Can it be modified in anyway?

                          4. Are the vent fins on radiator harmful? Should I get it straight or what should I do. I'm not facing any heating issues though. Can it be replaced under extended warranty? Should I install radiator guard (please tell cost of yes)?

                          5. I'm looking to purchase a new helmet, gloves, tang bag and riding jacket. Im not looking for expensive one but decent ones as my budget is restricted so please if anyone can guide on that.

                          6. any other tips are welcome.

How long a chain set last if driven sensibly?

Hello Yati, it is possible to order a genuine CBR 250R body cover which is made wit synthetic material with moisture venting system through an authorised Honda SVC or showroom. Please contact your nearest showroom for further details.

Hello Saurabh, congrats on your new ride and I hope you are enjoying every bit of it with your loving family.
With my experience I would like to answer you questions here.
                              1. The handling issue is due to the Fork bearing or technically called the race bearing kit which allows the free movement of the handle bar. Due to the rough terrain and time this bearing will got loosen and will need a re adjustment to make it fine again. It is a simple job of th contact your SVC. (You have to be sure that the bike is neatly handled by the previous owner because a very bad coalition will also result in these kind if troubles. Problem with the chassis will also give a handling issue.) tell them to check that too.
                              2. The second issue is a normal thing. I had the same experience and at last I decided to change the leather material into a different one which has more grip. That solved the issue. Putting a seat cover on would be a bad choice because it will spoil the entire look and feel of the bike.
                              3. Foot pedal re adjustments and modifications are common in every city. You will find so many in google. But trust me, the actual position of CBR250R is one of the best and ideal for touring and long rides. You will regret in future if you change it into a different position. Its better you get used to it and you will be wowed (Also note, modification is illegal )
                              4. This problem is due to poor water servicing. They simply wash the radiator without giving any care. It can not be replaced under warranty and if you want to change it, the whole unit is going to cost almost around 6-7k. I suggest you to buy magnetic tank bags instead of permanently fixing ones. The normal tank bags will leave scratches in future due to trapped dirt under the bag. Magnetic tank bags are cheap and you can find it in online markets. Starts from 1500 and above. If you are looking for a cheap and nice gloves Scoyco gloves are the best. Looks good and nice comfort too. Do not compromise in price when it comes with helmets. Always buy good quality helmets for both rider and passenger.
                              Ride safe

Regarding the bent fins do I need it get them straightned or I should leave it as it is? From what I've read it is used to dissipate heat so that's why I was concerned.
