  • I dont get why Honda neglects Tier 2/3 cities for such events.

You are talkin about tire 2/3 cities. I've never heard of something like this here in delhi.

In Hyderabad since i bought the bike it's happening every month.
I don't know anything before October.

        1. In October it's Ra.One movie, 2 tickets and Interval snacks in PVR. Should be around RS. 1000

        2. In November it's Runway 9 resort, enjoyed go-karting there.
        Should be around RS. 1500

        3. In December it's Ramoji film city.
        Should be around RS. 2000

        4. In January it's Lake View Park.

I hope every city has one, and hope we all (all India CBR owners) meet up once in a year.

Don't know why they are all praises for the cbr handling. Stark contrast to the cbr bashing w.r.t this dept here in India. Any difference between the bike we get here and abroad?

Why don't you share the news of Kalmadi, Robert Vadra, Anna Hazare & film news too? We can have a OT junkie thread for anything & everything here?

xBhp is not India; there're quite a few forums that are dedicated for CBR as well as neutral websites on CBR. If you want unbiased opinion, visit them!!!

Personally I've checked between US & India, there's none from outward appearances. Technically, quite a few of them. Check back few 100 pages on my post where I've listed out them. Add the Brembo brakes abroad compared to the nonsense BYBRE here.

I'd point out the rubber whenever asked for a difference/ upgrade suggestion. Good set of tyres make wonders for any bike! & the stock CONTIs are IMHO built to last long and thats about it.

Check the timings; lead by one whole second & I wonder how that guy would've felt against all the other 8 Kawi's.

I thought bybre was made by brembo. But agreed to the fact that the brakes lack that all important progressive feel.

But can the tires by themselves be such an important difference. I understand that the grip level maybe different. But what about the side to side transition part. I mean some people term the cbr as a boat wrt this aspect of handling. Frankly having riden the cbr250r, i feel it has enough agility compared to my ride. For an average joe like me the most glaring difference was a slight top heavy feel into the corner which is a good or a bad thing depending upon the rider.

edit-argee sir, couldn't find the post your mentioning. Used the searchbar but no success. Any pointers?

It's the skill of the rider that dictates the command over the machine.
                            Check this from cbr250.net
After many late nights last week race prepping our new CBR, we took it to Motorsport Ranch in Cresson Tx, for its first race. Ryan Andrews won the E Superstock race (against 22 EX250s) by more than 5 seconds. Then we entered the CMRA 2 hour endurance race, and took the overall win by a full lap. We also set the fastest lap of the day by over 1.5 seconds. Thanks to Road and Track Suspension in san antonio tx for the suspension work, Kyle at M4 exhausts, and Dante @ Bazzaz for the late night tech support.

                            • Yesterday i went to enquire for rear seat cowl and frame slider . person hast quoted 11550 Rs for frame sliders and 6300Rs(without paint) for rear seat cowl. should i go for it. i am confuse cos i am feeling the quote is high and second thought is that my brother is going to bangkok for a week so should i ask him to get stuff from there or should i buy it from here only.
