on monday my bike refused to start. the battery was down. i went to my asc and they sent the mechanic with me who replaced the battery with a battery from an accidental CBR. the manager told me that they will check the battery and till then i can use the other battery. yesterday he called me up and told me that my battery has been replaced and asked me to come today evening for the replacement.
i dont know about other asc but my asc has addressed all the issues that i have reported so far.

I gave mine for a paid service on Wednesday morning.Originally posted by Bipr15 View PostGuys i juz did my 1st servicing but in my area it was unable to find oil filter thats why mechanic juz cleaned my old oil filter i didn't replace my old oil filter but some of my frnds saying fzs oil filter can be use in cbr they said it's similar plz advice something
I didnt go yesterday since they didnt call
Today i get a call saying filter may arrive tmrw from Udupi!
So im gonna wait.
I hope they arent extending the time to swap my components now
I just didnt wait around for the service because they also had to give my silencer cover for repainting as their incompetence during first service completely destroyed the paint back then.

BTW, have you noticed? Lack of interest with the mods on this thread has lead to become one of the poorest ownership thread with almost no updatesLast edited by aargee; 01-13-2012, 07:09 PM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

..so i guess it is popular...though there aren't much technical topics discussed with solutions and improvisations.

There're several reasons...Originally posted by psr View PostThe rating star is 4.5 out of 5

1. People who want to talk technical just speak on it & other who don't understand want OT
2. Every new owner thinks page 600 is page 1 & wants to go over the same s*** discussed over & again for the laziness of searching
3. Every now & then some joker appears out of no where starting a OT + some bloke who don't want to keep moving to next level snubs people from discussing next level
4. Last but not the least, mods are highly disinterested; this is one of the thread that needs a high clean up for the kind of OT that has been discussed.
Sometimes I tend to believe if competitors are encouraging through different means to keep this thread dead

Has anyone changed their air filter? According to Delhi's pollution level and dust, when should i go for air filter change? I opened up my filter and it appeared to be a bit dirty. I have done about 11kLast edited by Mail2vasant; 01-14-2012, 08:46 AM.

My CBR is with the showroom from 10 days for Block head kit replacement and everything has been done just one thing is not available that is tappet adjusting shims there are 120 sizes of the and most of them are not available.
The nut bolt replacement kit is also changed and got 1 liter oil free with the kit so will have to only pay for remaining oil and oil filter.Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

I get hissing sound from my front disc. When i bought the bike i complained about this and delivery guy said it is because the disc pads are new, after 500 kms sound will not be there. Although the sound reduced after 2k kms, still the sound exists. I asked the service guy about this and he said for ABS bike it's common because there is a wheel monitoring sensor which always monitoring the wheel, so this hissing sound comes.
The thing i wanted to know is, do guys with ABS bike are able to hear the same hissing noise.

No hissing sound here on my ABS.
Just got my bike back from servicing.
Even though i have placed order for the hex screws at the ASC in the first week of Dec, they arent taking it up seriously for some unknown reason.
I enquired about the oil along with kit and they said there was no such thing - yes i know theyre lying but i was more pissed off about the hex screws not being available.
I tried contacting HMSI via multiple emails but to no avail. Back then only one screw had fallen off but on Tuesday one screw from each mirror fell off and i had to tell them to take one mirror off for now and use the two screws on the same mirror instead so i can atleast ride around with it.
The scratches in the pic were my own mistake since i tried to fold the mirrors upwards till i got to the ASC
Now i know about those touch up pens but will they work on this deep gash?
Is there anything i can do about it apart from repainting the whole thing?
Also the regional officer isnt for some reason picking up any calls. Ive been calling them up every 3rd day to enquire about spares and they never pick up.
So is there anyone down in this state who can actually answer my call for HMSI?
Anybody got any contacts?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
