They might as well withdraw completely from the performance /enthusiast segments and concentrate on their cash cows - Activa and Shine.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Of course. Honda loves its paint jobs. They'll paint the two CBRs with increasingly bad schemes until the end of time. They still think no one can see through their charade. They sell a 1.4L bike (150R) in 2017 without even an engine kill switch.Originally posted by Ave2592 View Post

Re: Honda CBR 250R
The sportsbike segment in India doesn't matter to Honda bosses - just look at the amount of bikes RE has sold last year and compare it with the CBR 250 sales. This is proof that just performance and reliability won't sell in India, we need the sound and the looks too. Around here, people are amazed and incredulous when I tell them that the CBR 250 can reach higher speeds than any RE 500.
Honda has announced they're going to work on a cruiser. I trust it they will go through with it. And I may even buy a rebel 500 if they make it in India.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
With due respect to Honda design team hope this time they will again ruin the look of CBR by another set of funky stickers. Really this has become an obsessed thing nowadays seeing CBR with funky colors. IMO best color of CBR is 2011/2012 silver red/black till date, and these colors totally defines the VFRish look of CBR.Originally posted by ALI.R View PostOf course. Honda loves its paint jobs. Re: Honda CBR 250R
Apologies here, slightly OT,Can we start some sort of online petition to atleast make the top management of honda in the 250-400cc segment and Yamaha and Suzuki in the 600-800 cc segment, not expecting much , atleast if they took notice would be great.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Honda, not again please 🙏 stop playing new color/sticker scheme game.Originally posted by rvibin View PostYup! Dealers say that it will be launched in the next 3-4 months with new color/sticker schemes.
This is the ultimate chance for Honda to bring in 250rr or 300r.
If not now then it will be never.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
And who will buy it? Honda math heads have done the math, found out that bringing the 250rr or the 300 to India is not going to be profitable for Honda.Originally posted by zikzak View PostHonda, not again please 🙏 stop playing new color/sticker scheme game.

Don't get false hopes and then blame Honda later. They're running the company for profit. Rumors of cbr250 being discontinued were going around since 2013.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Indeed! Honda won't bring anything soon enough. IMO they will again launch same thing with new funky colors. They understood that people in India don't need more than CBR 250R, at least the majority. And this is true that apart from look and feel factors CBR 250R is still shining in the Indian market because of it's offerings and pricing.Originally posted by leech View PostAnd who will buy it? Dream come True: My dream bike Honda CBR250R ABS comes home
As a teenager everyone of would have always dreamed of having a particular. It was year 2011 when Honda had launched Honda CBR 250r in India. I was in class XI that time. I had just learn to ride a motor cycle on my brothers Unicorn. And one of my friend had got his hands on one of the first CBR in the city. It was black color standard variant as at that age we didn't knew anything about ABS and how life saver the ABS can be. It was his CBR which i rode and felt in love with it. The comfort, the power, the looks all made me fall in love with it. I think I have some connecting with Honda two Wheeler's. Up till date all my 2 wheeler's have been Honda. My first 2 wheeler was a 2010 Honda Activa Silver Color std. variant then my brother bought himself a 2011 Honda Unicorn again in silver. As my Activa was fairly new I didn't think much about CBR it was just in my dreams.
Then came my engineering. Yes I am an engineer. My dad decided to buy a new bike for me. The budget which was given was enough to get a 150cc bike. Although i had searched for CBR in used market but the prices for a good bike where between 1.20-1.40 lac. which was way out of budget where as a new CBR250r was upward of 2 lac (The ABS varaint). As I grew I came to know the importance of ABS so had decided which ever vehicle we buy it should be equipped with ABS. At that time I went and bought Honda Trigger thinking that its the same reliable unicorn with some new cloths. But I was wrong. In first year trigger was reliable but later problems kept coming to that point that I stopped using it. I had lost my will to ride a bike. I was even upto selling off my bike.
It was due to my friend who insisted me to ride along with him to lonavala on a fine Sunday. It was that ride that inspired me to get back to riding. So I started to thing and try new solutions on my trigger and made it use worthy.
In the mean time I was checking out CBR 250r in the used market. I was inspired to look out for a used CBR according to me it was not worth to pay 2.21 lac on a 7 year old bike. But as they say love is blind. In the month of March 2017 I went ahead and made an inquiry for a Repsol edition it was priced at 2.28 lac for the ABS variant. No discounts where offered. I came home and decide to book it once I join my job.
Then came the date 30/03/2017. The BSIII ban which literally converted the two wheeler market in India into a vegetable market. Ridiculous discount where offered. A Honda Navi was offered for free on the purchase of a Honda CBR 150r or 250r. This was the time to try to get a new bike for all. I too went ahead too have a look at the dealers. I was firm that what ever may happen I will buy an ABS equipped bike only. One of the dealer a black color ABS variant. And offered me a discount of Rs. 20,000 which brought down the price to 2 lac. This was time of customers had a bargain hard which paid off as I got an offer which i couldn't refuse. I told them that first I'll have a look at the bike and then and then I'll make the payment as promised the showed me the bike. The bike was good so made the payment and got home my dream bike.
I have attached few of the photos which where clicked by me on my phone.
Thanks you.
Cheers
