I heard that Pulsar 220's are a direct fit for the rear brake pads

I have used cbr 150 brake pads for the front, it's a direct fit as well.

Guys I faced this issue recently where the bike refused to crank up , this happened to me for the first time in more than 3 years that the bike refused to start, kechkechkechkech, after trying a few times, it managed to start and I didn't face that problem until today, it happened like a couple of days earlier, not sure if my fi system is causing the problem or fuel pump, I make it a point to idle my bike daily for 2 mins before taking her out, I'm due for a service in 400 or soo kms, but I feel as if there's a small loss of power or its just my head, not sure.

Was this after a gap of two or more idle days?

Didn't take out my bike for a day, due to the monsoons, I kept my bike covered during these rains too. But then again suddenly bike starts normally, will see again in a bit what happens.I'm wondering could it be a faulty starter motor?

I idle my bike 5 seconds before starting off, always done so, and I have no engine problems at 43k kms. I didn't buy into the 2 minute idling theory since the bike has a 1.5L oil sump.

Regarding starting trouble, it could be flooded engine, or a dying battery. Do check the voltage of your battery, it should be above 12.6 volts in the morning before a ride.

The starter motor does wear out slowly, when i bought the bike the engine started instantly, like a light switch. Five years later, it takes around 1.2 seconds to start.

I experienced this on and off whenever I parked the bike for more than 3 days.

Have to then use the manual recommended method of cranking at full throttle.

I idle it till the first bar appears in the temperature display. I feel 5 secs is too less for a 250 cc engine.
Any specific reason you idle for 5 secs?

My bike was sitting in my parking for a week. Cranked up after a week and started just fine. No stress whatsoever.
I idle the engine for 30 seconds. Habit. Never experienced any problems

Maybe a minor electrical issue. The last time that happened to me was because the connection got short due to some shabby hazard light installation done on the bike
