I am seeing coolant leakage in my Ceeber. After riding once I stop I can see the coolant drip and form a small group. Click image for larger version

Any ideas on why this is happening? Service center guy asked me to get the bike to SC tomorrow and not ride it anymore

I guess its overflow. As engine is new,it gets heated a lot and coolant may overflow through overflow pipe. Check from where its leaking. If its from any of the pipes, nothing to worry. Still take it to svc for your satisfaction

siddharthsure The leakage is from one of the hoses connecting to water pump and not the overflow pipe. Coolant is all over the engine oil inspection window area.

Then please go to SVC asap and dont drive. And drive to SVC only if you have some coolant remaining in reservoir. Else tell them to come with coolant and then take the bike. Hope you didn't drive too much without coolant. Also after its fixed, monitor engine temp regularly and also the coolant level.

And dont become sad. The hose might have been loose. Simple fix. So chill

Ya, hope so.. .. I have not ridden much called SC right after I saw the drip. Coolant level is above mid so shouldnt be an issue I hope. Keeping fingers crossed.

Thats good. Its just loose. Will leak only when engine is hot as coolant pressure increases. And it leaks through even the smallest gap. Take it and have it fixed in front of your eyes.

I Just noticed after coming from office tonight that my front headlight's left lower portion seems to a bit hazy - not crystal clear as it was at the morning. I tried cleaning using some Collin but its still hazy. What could be the reason.

Any tyre recommendations.. Have run already ~ 26k on the stock..its high time now..
Am getting here conti, Dunlop, mrf.
Was thinking to try out the irc from the Ninja300..not sure how will they perform..and its availability.
Also heard the new stock of conti is good..can someone confirm this and how they are identified to be genuine.. Or please feel free to suggest some..

26k, thats hell of a mileage..

Contis : New stock good, but MRFs better. I have personally experienced the difference between new and old.
Dunlop: Not used, but someone posted experiencing better cornering and fuel efficiency. Try searching a few pages back.
MRF: Not used, but experienced on a R15 V1. Best grip and handling. Front Zapper FY 110/70 - 17; Rear Zapper S 140/70 - 17. Don't go for Zapper C rear. Duke front good too.
IRC: Can't comment. Search through ninja thread for reviews.
PSD: All stock is more than 2 - 3 years old. No use paying extra for it.The grip they are famous for is no longer present.

I have now PSD front, Conti rear. PSD is par for the course, nothing exceptional, Conti is better than the last one.

Best bet would be MRFs if you can locate them.

GO for MRFs

However I have a different setup..
Dunlop for rear and
MRF for front (duke tyre)
Getting a mileage of 40kmpl under constant speed of 110- 120 kmph

When I was in Bangalore I also saw a CBR250R with Dunlop radials but the size was bigger maybe 18".

I too noticed the blue liquid the very moment I brought the bike home from showroom (Haiku Honda) which is about 2 kms. And called up the SA and he said it may be overflow. And it was clearly from the pipe. But there is no leak ever since then. Didn't get enough time to ride the bike and still it has done 27km yet. But no trace of further drip.
