Though these are my personal views

If you have connections with people travelling from the states or UK, the same HEL steel braided brake lines will cost you 6k for both front and rear you can opt for any colour of your choice.

Cheers,
Oh, ok. Will do a bit of research on that before going forward, but as far as I know now, the steel braided lines help in better fluid flow and prevents the line from collapsing..which is a good thigh right ?

HEL will also be considered, I have quite a bit of time you see... :-P

Yes, I really love the food in Kerala. Wayanad is the favourite since it ticks all the boxes - good roads, curves, forest and good food. Rode down to Calicut recently and loved the food there too

If you are in Bangalore these days, we should catch up. Will take this further on PM.

Hey, thanks for the link TJ,
Yes, I am working here now, and yes, we can catch up. I live in whitefield, where are you living ?

BTW, kerala food is always the best. :-P

The duke prices seems fair enough.
yeah, P220's rear brakelines are steel braided too. I am gonna go for them soon. So would post review.

In the meantime, let me mention an incident. Yesterday, I was riding at around 80 kmph(estimated) when a i10 suddenly entered through a cut in the road. I slammed the brakes hard, the rear skidded a little and then retook the grip. I was saved by around 5 inches. Would I have crashed into the car, would have been posting this from hospital beds. After this incident, i felt my spending 9k for Michelins(front and rear) were worth it.

Just after the installation found no difference in braking however the instructions for the same mentions a bedding in period of 300km, so rode the bike for 50kms today with moderate and short duration of braking. One thing i noticed after around 47kms of riding today was when i approached a speed breaker a light dab on the rear brake caused the ABS to cut-in as i felt juddering of the brake pedal, after that twice i braked a bit hard to check the efficiency of the brake due to sheer curiosity and found even thought no difference in brake feed back as compared to Nissin the braking distance has reduced and brake had become more sharper. Ofcourse i may have found this difference because of riding with worn pads for quite sometime and suddenly switching to new set of brake pads.BTW had changed front pads at around 7500km odo reading and changed both front and rear at 15170km odo reading even though rear pads has quite some material left in it.

2.Any particular observation after using multi point racing spark plug from Brisk.

as for the Galfer brake pads unless you go for the expensive ones which are specific for Racing in the same model you wont find any difference in bite.
Few places where you will realize the diffrence..

highway riding with good speeds and braking at high speeds where basic pads start heating up quickly and wear out quickly along with loss in traction.
galfers will handle those high temps and less wear and tear.

braking distance will reduce.

life of pads will be better than that of stock..

in comparison to Nissin the performance gap is timid however for NON-ABS the stupid brybr.. the performance upgrade is substantial.

for Brisk.. no notable diffrence noted in terms of top end or probably i would confess i cudnt spare time and road to push it that far on a highway.
bottom end has certainly improved. the ride used to struggle even 1 click below in 6th gear. now pulls effortlessly without knocking from 50 onwards in 6th gear. boon for city riding.

vibes have considerably reduced ( this can be due to other changes as well ( conset , chainselt changed and regularly flushing fuel injector with System-G))

A sintered brake pad is superior to the Organic compound type....better still is the Kevlar ones ,and still better Ceramic, with increasing cost . The ceramic pads need matching Disc plate to withstand increased heat ...
Just my thought.

Sid, asking this question due to sheer curiosity......... even i am using the same setup however just wanted to know are you feeling the steering a bit heavy after switching to michelin, initially i changed my rear tyre to michelin later after a couple of thousand kms when i installed mich in the front ,the steering definitely felt a bit heavy. Even though grip is simply excellent, also a few of my friends from our CBR group felt the same when the rode my bike. After a lot of experiments we decided to swap the complete front wheel with another cbr's wheel shod with conti-go and found the steering light again, also another ninja owner from pune who has the same set-up installed on his bike too complained of the same issue on his bike as well.

PSR sir, thank you very much for your kind and valuable advise....lol , it is definitely a life saver due to the excellent grip it provides hence wont mind a minute trade-off in terms of maneuverability .

yeah, the steering feels a little after getting Michelins. I was uner the impression that my cone set might be at fault. Though I feel the bike rushes now on straight line but feels heavy while cornering.
