Hi Mate,
although i don't own a CBR 250R, i had the privilege of riding one on highway with Michelin Pilot Street radial tyres doing duty..
A few things i observed while riding that vehicle:
* On cornering the flickability is just one notch lesser than stock. I guess that can be attributed to the slight change in the shape and profile compared to stock Contigos. Not a major trade off though!! It actually inspires confidence to enter a corner with a considerable amount of speed.

* Being a sticky tyre, personally i have my reservations about its performance on wet surface but the owner has responded with a positive feedback on the same. Even at the higher 90s and 100s, apparently it performed really well.
* Sticks like a leech!! So during summers or places with hotter ambient temps this tyre will give you more grip. My guess is with a slightly higher rolling resistance the FE may come down by 1 - 2 kmpl. But in the name of safety not a bad thing.
* May last lesser: say roughly 15k kms max due to the sticky nature.
* Costs slightly on the higher side in comparison to the stock tyres.
A video link explaining about the difference between bias and radial type tyres:
UPDATED:
* Michelin Pilot Street radial is an "H" rated tyre with speed ratings of upto 210 kmph. Front profile is 100/70-17 and the rear is 140-70-17, same as stock tyres for Honda CBR 250R. The whole set will cost you around 8-10k and will last approx 12-15k kms. This tyre offers brilliant grip on dry surface and sticks like anything! I am sharing some images below of the same:

Pic 1: Note the threads.

Pic 2: Michelin Pilot Street rear tyre.

* Michelin Pilot Sporty is "P" rated tire with speeds upto 150 kmph. Profile: Front is 100-80-17 and rear is 140/70/17. The front tire will have slight amount of height but it will ensure more distance between pot hole riddled roads and the mag wheel alloys and will provide better protection to the same. Since, CBR registers speed differently compared to other vehicles and doesn't have a speedo sensor on the wheel, it should not increase speedo error by a huge margin. The whole set will cost you around 5.5k - 6k max. As a cheaper option, for riders who will never go beyond 150 kmph, this seems to be a viable replacement against the crappy stock Contigos. Sharing some images of the same:

Pic 5: Michelin pilot Sporty front tyre with profile 100/80-17. Note the center patch design for channeling water. Should offer better grip on wet surface. Only for on road application.

Pic 6: Michelin Pilot Sporty rear tyre profile: 140/70-17. Medium soft compound so should last pretty much as Contigos. Will offer better handling characteristics than Contigos.
I personally feel, from ownership point of view the Michelin pilot Sporty is a better option unless the rider is into high speed runs on the highway. This tyre will offer a balance of both worlds, decent grip and wet road performance.

). If you are thinking for two different colours, Front Black and rear Blue might do. Strict no to other colours.
