      Most alloys cost that much. The rim is covered under insurance though. Probably not the tyres. He should write to Honda and also get in touch with the insurance guys.

        Hi All,

        My console seems to have some issue. The blue light in the console is working in right side only also it is not showing the reserve fuel indication. It always shows 1 point fuel even when tank is empty..
        How much it might cost to change one any idea?

          if its under warranty it should be changed by company. else it will somewhere between 5500-6000.

          what do you mean by 1 bar when tank is empty ?? the tank should never be empty else you might or infact you will burn your fuel pump which will cost you another 8-10k.
          the tank always needs minimum of 3 litres reserve under normal operating conditions and thats when the last bar starts blinking. if its a solid bar when the tank was purposefully emptied for testing then get the fuel level sensor checked and also the front console.

          incase you are out of warranty try to get the console out by the company specified tech and try to take it to a local vendor for repair it might be just a fused/blown LED which can be replaced easily and might save you a few thousand bucks.

            I was considering the same, but I heard that the 2013 black shield is more prone to scratches...so I have thought of sticking to stock.

            The rim is priced at around 6000 INR in Bangalore. And yes, it will be covered under insurance. Speak to the insurance guys.

              As this post is regarding fuel bar and refueling to some extent, would like to ask one question.

              Is it okay to refuel all the time after last bar starts blinking / always fill after riding some km with single fuel bar ?

                Guys a question....Does the engine rattle at 4-6000 rpm under low throttle, I mean knocking at low rpms while crawling in traffic. Thanks in advance.

                    Thanks for the info. I never emptied my tank for testing I was riding the other day and as the fuel level was showing one bar without blinking I didn't bother but suddenly it stopped.
                    I was confused for sometime but when refilled it the bike started normally. I better get it checked from authorized service center as I don't want to take any chances...

                      you can always refuel after the last bar blinks to keep a check on FE however do it within 10-15 km's at max. if you plan for a long trip then always refuel whenever possible as you never know when the next fuel station will come..

                        I replace my alloys for 5k in Delhi. So the price looks good. And it won't be covered umder but you can claim insurance.

                          Guys recently i got my Bike transported from from Kolkata to Hyderabad. i Have a Red and silver 250 2011 model .No major damages as of such. but the Rear tail fender just above the 1. Tail light has broken and needs replacement. How much does it cost?
                          2. I would also like to change the rear side fenders which is just below the which is silver in color. how much does it cost?
                          3. I would also like to change the matt black plastic part which is right below the rear silver fender. how much does it cost?
                          4. would like to change the silver exhaust shield to the 2013 black one. how much does it cost?
                          5. Also would like to know the price of the grab rails.

                              I know the price for 4th item ie: Exhaust muffler. Its cost Rs. 540 here at Kolkata. Rest you need to ask your nearest ASC.

                                HI Guys,

                                This might be a weird question but still.
                                How can I get maximum mileage out of my bike. A typical day for me is around 25-30 KMS drive to office, gym etc and in those 25-30 KMS around 15-16 KMS it is Highway less traffic open roads.
                                Pls suggest either in speed or in r.p.m..
                                I know it's a performance bike but I have FZ which I want to discontinue and adopt CBR for daily drive...
