I've bought a couple of tankpads already. The irony is that some of the riding gear and accessories have already been purchased but the bike is still to come...
Will be waiting for the pictures while you take delivery. Also do post pics of your riding gears.

      Hello guys,

I am a recent Honda CB Trigger owner, still posting in this thread because CB Trigger thread has almost no active members.
Thus wanted to have your views on one query regarding 'Run in' period, which is common for all bikes.

I have done around 330 km as off now and I have read somewhere that the engine oil should be changed at around this time and postponing the first servicing to 600-650km.
Do you recommend this ?? Will this at all help in better run in??
I found this quite logical as this will remove any metal parts scrapped off during first few kilometers.

      Please advice

First servicing should be done anything within 500-1000 km. the user manual will give you the accurate km info.
avoid harsh acceleration during runnin and earlier oil change the better it is. however minimum 500 and max 1000 is the deal..

I've also been waiting to do that. The dealer had promised delivery by 7th April but is now saying that there will be a delay of another 5-7 days. It has already been more than 15 days since booking.

Amazing what a weather change can do to your engine. Had a spell of rains today, bringing temperatures down significantly...and all the vibes from the engine seemed to disappear!

I did not enjoy shell ultra as much in winters as I am enjoying in summers. .

Try shell FS and you'd love it in summers. . Super stuff.. super smooth engines in extreme heat...

Get one paddock stand else lubing chain by moving the bike is tougher job.

rains coming.. get a paddock as suggested in next few weeks. dont buy in a haste. hunt for good ones for reasonable price or get one made.
local welder can make a decent one for 700-800 bucks.

The sound is normal so don't worry.
It is the exhaust contracting after expansion due to heat produced when the engine was running.
