Happens all the time for me too. No matter how carefully i try, i use a dashboard polish sambit said. It does give the matt parts as a factory finish, but over time the color starts to reappear, at that point i give it the dashboard polish treatment again.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
So basically I need to get a Dashboard polisher along with my Polish cream.
At my SVC they use 1 polish liquid both for glossy and matt parts and they do it as a part of Teflon polish. ie: 600bucks for 3 polish. What solution they might be using ?
Can someone give me a link for a cheap one. As I don't wanna spend much on this type of cosmetics. My Exhaust muffler and front mudguard is due for replacement.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys today during my regular 2nd 26km ride daily, nearing the end the bike just turned off , didn't start after using only the electric start, finally got it running after applying accelerator, had no problem starting it normally after. Any idea what could be wrong? Battery?" life is boring. its static, monotonous and depressing. At least up until i flip the switch and press the starter, that's when i go...OH BABY!"

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I did this, in fact i spoke to the owner directly and his response wasn't too inspiring. He says the red ABS variant isn't available and he can try and arrange the bike through another dealer by monday. In case they're not able to deliver by monday, i'll be left with these options:Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postback then when i bought i did not even book. went it and got it the same day however i have seen times where it took close to 3 weeks or even a month.
pressurize the dealer more by telling him that you will cancel the booking with him and buy some other bike.
don't be angry ( anger dosen't work).. be polite but assertive... state clearly you will buy a different bike if they do not give a near date and deliver as per promise.
1. Take the tricolour ABS model which is available off the shelf.
2. Take the Red non-ABS model, which is also available off the shelf.
3. Wait for another 10-15 days while the dealer tries to source the bike from the factory.
4. Cancel the booking and look for some other bike (the least exciting option)
Suggestions???

I assume it is as many superbikes also sports numbers either on windscreen else front mudguard.. also duke and fz has similar setup...Originally posted by hypheni View Post
Is this kind of license plate legal ?. And how to make this kind of number plate.
Any normal vinyl shop who does number plate will do this job for less than 100 bucks. .

Color option is always a personal matter, if you are ok with the tri color and in a hurry to get the bike, it is your choice,
but point no.2 that you raised, that doesn't seem to be a good option, if you were ready to spend extra bucks and go for the abs version , never go for the non-abs one , just because the abs version is not available in the color you wanted, you should be looking over abs only if you feel it is unnecessary, and since you first wanted abs, that is not the case here.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Even i'm not too keen on the non ABS model. At the same time, i dont know if waiting for the red ABS for another 15-20 days (dealer says that, still no commitment) makes sense.Originally posted by krish2778 View PostColor option is always a personal matter, if you are ok with the tri color and in a hurry to get the bike, it is your choice,

Well then, if color is not a such deciding factor, you can go ahead with the tri-color edition.

Show this to any stickering shop... They will do it for you. Its just a sticker over sticker i guess.Originally posted by hypheni View Post
Got this nice license plate design on CBR on some pages back. Last years post. What could be the white portion material. I have already PM the owner but still posting here for a quick response.

Done with the first paid servicing. Total Cost: Rs. 1390.

Chain was completly washed and greased.Last edited by sambit; 04-13-2014, 04:46 PM.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

Why was the oil filter not changed ? The oil filter should be changed with each oil change, especially the first oil change.
I would suggest you go back and make them change the oil filter.
Did they talk you out of changing it ? Then they have tricked you.
