That is utter rubbish.
The ABS is available for all the color scheme of the post 2013 models,
That is in Full Red, Tri-color, Full black.

Only the repsol edition comes with ABS as standard.

P.s: I have seen all the bikes with the ABS and non-abs models as well.

I guess the dealer is trying to take me for a ride. I've written to honda to seek clarification on this issue and i'm planning to cancel the booking and will probably speak to another dealer for this.

Is this the tri-color one that you ride?

That is exactly what you should do. Move on to a different dealer, now that you know for sure that he will lie through his teeth about almost anything now.

Yes, I ride the tri-color version, but mine is the non-abs version, most of the guys(very few) i know who took the tri color too have the ABS version.

The red one is actually not available with any of the dealers in Delhi as of now. All of them have the tri-colour one, which can be picked up the same day. Even the black one isn't available. I haven't seen both the red and black ones on Delhi roads, though the tri-colour and Repsol edition can be spotted.

I'm actually waiting for a revert from Honda Customer Care, as I would want them to know about what is happening at their dealerships.

That is good, appreciate your state of mind to see it through.

It is strange that no dealers have black or red available there, here i am seeing more of black and then red models , it is the tri color that i find to be rare here.

I spoke to the dealer again today, and he has the bike in the showroom. They have told me that they can deliver today itself.

I also spoke to Honda customer care today to clarify on the colour options and they confirmed that it is the full red colour that is being manufactured now (have sent an email to them to get written confirmation). When I asked the lady at the showroom about this, she very confidently told me that Honda customer care doesn't know about stuff like this and that the bike she has (red-silver) is the 2014 manufactured model. She even sent me the bike pics on whatsapp and they very clearly show the red-silver fairing and the silver alloys (pics attached).

They're clearing old stock! Ask for the VIN/chassis number and decode it. Various forums online for the same. Its your right, ask them to provide you the number.

It is high time you change your dealers. The red silver paint scheme has been discontinued for about 7-8 months now and if that color is still being sold, it is from old stock. You can check the chassis number and decode it to settle it once and for all.

This is from old stock clearly. I'm just wondering, I was searching for this color before 8 months when I purchased and no dealer at Kolkata had this. And still now this old stock has been kept in some showrooms of Delhi.

What is the best place online to Buy After Markets parts etc ? I need stickers for GAS CAP etc

Ebay is your best bet, you cannot find much accessories here, and most of them will be costly too, if you go for stuff from R&G and similar stuff.

For stickers, it is best you go to a vinyl shop or so, they will do a neat job for you on that.

Mobile mounts for clip-ons are a tough call, but rynox does have a mount which can be attached to the rvm rod on the bike, it will provide moderate feasibility though. Not sure of how effective it is. I actually have the mount running on the 390 , never tried it out on the cbr, will check it out and post it here if you want.
