The chap is sitting on the bike and pushing it forward - lesser chances of him dropping the bike. If he does not stop, he gets a squirt in his arse[emoji13]

      Hey guys
I need your help and suggestions.
My bro owns a cbr 250r and I look after it, I mean maintainence and all.
The bike is 3 months old and has done only 1500 kms, now my concern is during this summer with temperature exceeding 40+ degrees should I stick with the engine oil that company provides that is of 10w30 grade or should I shift to some better oil?
If yes then then which oil to go for, motul 300v or shell advance ultra(i have read that cbr runs smooth on this oil)?
      Awaiting your replies
Thanks in advance and sorry for asking if this has been asked before
      Hope you guys wont mind.

        Hi Guys

I see a strange behaviour, In neutral, I am not able to maintain 4K RPM. The needle fluctuates like crazy, and the same is seen when I ride also. I cant hold a steady RPM till 4K. Not a problem while accelerating, but cant keep the throttle constant. Any suggestions/ideas why this is?
        Cheers

Before dwelling deep into technical details, check both your throttle cables!

Another remote possibility, are the bar ends screwed in straight?

Then that's ruled out. Improperly screwed end weights (not straight/at an angle) restrict the throttle cable movement.

What is the difference between Repsol Edition and Standard ABS version apart from paint scheme ? Is there any technical changes ?

I went to SVC on saturday evening and checked the clutch setting. The technician said that the clutch setting is at the end point. They can't do anything more at this condition. I am using 10W30 fully synthetic oil ( coming in black color container). Air filter has replaced just 3 weeks before only. Throttle is fine. Engine is reving up as per the throttle.

The worst matter is that I told about this clutch problem during my last service, in march. Now bike is not running above 25kmph. I am not confident enough to give the bike to the same technician. By 20th of this month, I will be transfered to Nagpur and hope I can get some good SVC there.

If any riders from nagpur, please suggest me a good Honda service center .

that means the clutch is engaged if the throttle is rising and bike is not picking up speed...
it happens in all gears ?
if yes. might be the defective clutch cable is stretched.
how many km's done on the machine ?
you been doing burnout's ? frequent wheelies ? please don't get offended. try to isolate the issue

you can also pull the clutch cable more from the lever. there is some slack adjustment screw there as well. second point it near the engine oil cap.
is the clutch free? are you able to pull the lever with tension all the way ?

Can somebody advice which liquid wax/shiner is best to apply after getting bike washed. I want it to be applied to all body parts (including full fairing, engine cowls, tank, under seat area & rear mudguard cover). Also advice best chain cleaner & lube combo.

How often can I apply the liquid wax/shiner to the bike, I'm having Formula-1 car wax which I apply to my NS once in a fortnight after getting extensively washed but this time want to opt for a liquid which can be applied to fiber parts as well for both NS & CBR250R. What will be the approx cost for all & availability in HYD.

Also, has anybody got any type of crash-guards/engine guard/boffins fitted in your bikes ?
You must be the change you wish to see in the world
