Re: Honda CBR 250R
If by the rumours are true, the 300 should launch by feb 2018, auto expo, it's essential the same engine and chassis with a few different parts, fairings but not sure entirely but you'll have 31-32bhp and slight more torque,Originally posted by kris123456 View PostThanks for the info bud. Things are clear now and I know what to expect from next version, which probably will be a 280 cc mill from Brazil market.

I think we will get 25 hp version. I don’t think they will launch more powerful version because of upcoming fuel changes and other domestic factors.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostIf by the rumours are true, the 300 should launch by feb 2018, auto expo, it's essential the same engine and chassis with a few different parts, fairings but not sure entirely but you'll have 31-32bhp and slight more torque,

Re: Honda CBR 250R
25bhp? No chance, 31-32 BHP is the stock version, they wouldn't de tune and sell the bike in a lower power output with a higher price, it will simply not sell. Even the updated 250 single gives out about 29 as opposed to 26 in the current one. It simply does not make sense to give a depowered bike with other contenders offering more power and tech and lesser or similar price point, it makes 0 business sense to do that, soo we will get the 31-32 BHP 300 or 29bhp 250.Originally posted by kris123456 View PostI think we will get 25 hp version. Re: Honda CBR 250R
We always get detuned version. Even triumph’s are detuned. They might drop the price a bit. no point in selling at 2l when FZ25 sells for 115k.Originally posted by Deathwing View Post25bhp? Re: Honda CBR 250R
We don't, the cbr 250 r has or had standard power for all the countries, I. E 25bhp till 2013 then 26 from the models therefore, nobody will buy detuned models, soo Honda will give us the proper models just with the same instrument cluster to keeps costs at bay but as you've mentioned no chance of that detuned models, trust, it will literally put them in losses.Originally posted by kris123456 View PostWe always get detuned version. Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys I my CBR's stator coil is burned and there is no stock in Chennai showrooms. Because of this my bike is idle for almost 2 weeks.
When asked for order, they are saying that due to holidays they are closed until Jan 8 2018.
I have a small ride on Jan 6 and a big ride on Jan 26. And this spare issue is a great threat to those 2 rides. So, can anyone help me in sourcing this part. I can transfer the amount if anyone is willing to help me in this.
Please PM me or post a reply.
P.S: I live on Chennai.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I was informed that there is already a bike waiting there for stator coil replacement. But good news is that my CBR technician said that part might be available by monday, so keeping my hopes high.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostI got my stator coil replaced at didar motors egmore, they didn't seem to have a shortage.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hey guys,
CBR noob here The stock contigo tyres don't inspire much confidence. Does it get better after say about 500 kms?
Because mine is a new bike and still running - in and the tyre seems to wobble on uneven surfaces in higher speeds.
Any suggestions or should i change the tyre?
Also what is the right tyre pressure for cbr?
