For fixing the fairing vibes, change the inner bushes within the fairings; your ASC might've to place an order to obtain the same.
so which oil do u suggest?

also the asc guys are not ready to work on the fairing. they say that they will have to wait for the honda engineer to come to fix this and i will hav to leave the bike for atleast a week with them. this is not just one but three ASCs told me this. if u still insist they say that they would try but wont guaranty the results, which sounds more like a civilized way of tell me i am gonna screw ur bike. u had given the same suggestion to someone earlier in this thread and i went and told him this same thing about bushes but he still declined.

can u suggest me a good ASC in mumbai or thane or even pune for that matter who can take care of this problem. also please do suggest me the oil which will be good for my bike. FS if possible.

    thank you.

For now HMSI 10W-30 which has proved over 150 Kmph with 80 Kg person on it; I'm yet to experiment with any other reliable oil, so any info I speak is guess. Motul for sure doesn't seem to have 10W-30 FS, so, I'm stumbled on there. Stick with HMSI 10W-30 FS which will also be best as it doesn't voids the warranty.

Yes, they would decline & mock at you for the very reason they want to exhibit that they're superior to you in knowledge. Keep moving up higher & higher until you get a favorable result.

      • more smiles per miles

Bike still going strong and good after 6k kms ...

Rear brake pads were totally gone so changed it with the Pulsar 220 brake pads, really cost effective :P and the brakes are working very fine now.

Bike still smooth and powerful and eye catching of every other CBR owners in MUMBAI

here are few more pictures of my brother taking it to lonavla.

This prevents me from accelerating hard. Does anyone else faces this issue?
            Hi harsh
Probably you are riding in the wrong gear.

nuin bro its the same red and silver, so not even bothered about it coz if any cop catches will simply tell them that red is already there and silver is the magwheel colour rest the company didnt type coz the list of colours wil become more and RC card cant accomodate the list of five colours which are white blue golden red and silver

              Hope he belives this
But touchwood no 1 caught me til now and not even put the number plate on the front side, only on the rear, as it spoils the looks

Why there is no helmet 3rd pic ? You must wear one. Xbhp don't support this.

Anyhow mine RC/smart card says color = "OTH" as I believe it say other instead of silver.

Is it something I need to correct ?

                • Dont know about that am not even sure of wads written over my RC card.

DID any one face any issue with regards to duplicating the key???
I did, my brother lost 1 original key now am only left with other one, tried to contact Honda service center they telling me that incase if even this 1 i lose it i will have to buy 10,000rs lock set and they cant even duplicate the keys of cbr, i tried a lot searching in market but such kinda keys were not available. In the end i found 1 guy who managed to do it with the keys of SUZUKI access which is working absolutely fine

This is ridiculous. AFAIK there is a tag attached to the keychain when the keys are first handed over to the customer which has a set of numbers embossed. Duplicate keys should be made available based on these numbers by the service center.

Its not about the police check, its for education; just want to know what's written on RC.

And what short of problems u'r facing so far so that i could be more careful thanks
I get my chain lubed at the ASC every 500-1000kms/ chain slackness adjustment etc.
And i always redline my bike everytime.
Im guessing Chain+sprocket will last atleast 10k kms for me but if sanely driven below 8k rpm, it would last you a bit longer say 15-16k kms.
Just to be on the safe side, order anything you need from spares Well in advance. For eg, if you are going in for a service/oil change, grab the filter atleast 2 weeks in advance. That way you dont have to wait.
Same for the chain or other parts which will need to be replaced due to wear and tear.

I followed the same procedure but i hardly redlined my bike and still my chain is @ its last setting . ODDO reading 9900kms
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

+1 .. Prince did you take a test drive of ABS ? Since you commute 160 kms ABS would be Ideal in my opinion !

I would go for an official CBR jacket if not the pant and the gloves. BTW, did you inquire if the jackets were mesh. Woul;d help in summers.
