Got the huge first puncture on my contigos rear @ 5014 kms. Still thinking how it happened so big when I didn't leave city yet with my bike.

Punctures, well, they happen yes, and it's a misery for a motorcycle rider. Secondly, observe if the rip or tear is fixable using the puncture seal kit. Usually a small hole left by a nail or an object is parallel to the tire it's quite fixable, if it's perpendicular or has a rip, then we have trouble. If it's a ~ rip or a / rip with more than 1 CM, you'd need a tire replacement.

That is too much of a gunk to impair the performance of the throttle body. it's even more worse than some of the Dukes' TB-ies I've seen. How muck Kays has the motorcylcle clcoked. With that kind of a throttle body, you definitely can consider a head decarbonization and a fuel filter replacement. Clean the TB thoroughly and opt for a head decarb if you can, would definitely work wonders.

Need your help for my cbr which is making a weird noise at 4k rpm sounds like metal buzzing it disappears after 4.2-.3 rpm and recently i serviced my bike but they are unable to rectify my problem they have changed the rocker arm bearing which i think had no problem. Will post a video of my engine sound.
The high metallic shrill noise isn't supposed to be present. Though it's quite normal (though it might have been amplified by the mic) that shrill noise isn't supposed to be prevalent at that RPM. Most users hear a mild stitching noise at that RPM, but yours is quite different. Did you check your crank bearings and camshaft bearings?

      Mirror stalk painting
Oil Change to Shell Ultra 10w40.
      Accelerator(s) and Clutch cable change.
Welcome to the boards, Pain. I reckon the stock are the Conti GO Bias Ply on your bike, seems the bike hasn't seen much of a useful life either, good deal. How much did you pay for her? Yes, you can either exchange the tire if they are good enough or you can swap them to quality radials.

      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I've used some stp fuel injector cleaner which has marginally improved the performance of the bike. The bike used to stall at the time of first start but it is solved now. Svc guys have changed the camshaft bearing don't know about the crankshaft bearing but the bike becomes smooth after 5k rpm. I've used oil flush for decarbonising the engine. The svc guys were telling me that the carbon buildup was because the bike was stored for a long time anyway will visit svc again. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Bud. Yeah its barely been used for 3650 kms totally. The tyres are the stock Contigo and are crap as they have developed minor cracks on the sides due to age and weather I guess. Paid around a Lakh for the bike. Upgraded from my 2013 Karizma to this one.

Tyres are the 1st priority now.

            Hello guys!

I lost one of my bike's key in my college campus today. I am worried if anyone steals my bike in my absence since there have been many bike robberies in the past few days. I intend to get the locks of my bike changed. Do i have to buy the whole lockset which costs around 4k or can the locks be changed separately? If yes how much will it cost.

            Thank You.

Congrats mate! That's a beautiful machine! I really like the Redbull logo on the front fender. Completes the livery! I'm planning to get it done myself! And 3650km for a 2013 bike? Previous owner was a real slob I guess. I've covered as much in about 4 months. Cheers on your steal! Happy mile munching!

Get a 3M carb cleaner that is circuitry safe and clean that gunk. That's a lot of mess. How many km has it done ??

Also ecu hard reset is a lengthy procedure. Disconnect battery is just a soft reset and does no good and most techs have no idea how to hard reset it

Change spark plug. It's mostly gone bust due to being parked for long duration.

Thanks Bud! I tried to replicate the logo from the 2017 RC213V. Yeah its a 2014 bike but the owner didnt get time to use it much as he travels mostly due to work by car. So lucky me

I've obviously cleaned it with an throttle body cleaner. Bike has done 16.5k kms and i've done ecu hard reset already.

For the fuel additive, try using system g or adon p (available at bp & ioc petrol pumps respectively). Or run a couple of tankful with liqui moly injector cleaner (can be bought on amazon). I've used these products and they do not cause any issues.

Have you changed the air filter ? A bad air filter is known to cause hiccups. Change it if you haven't, and it might probably solve the hiccup issue.
Also if you haven't replaced the fuel filter, it would be a good idea to do it now.

I would also get the fuel tank cleaned out if it wasn't (since it was lying unused for a long time). Hopefully you did not run the bike with the stale fuel.

                              Thanks

You have quite a few of them listed online, eBay is such one and many even in Aliexpress sell frame sliders, visors, tank grips et cetera for the CBR 250. I personally don't recommend the use of the frame sliders. Given the right blunt it can twist and bend the chassis in worse cases twist the mount point themselves. Though I am not a anti-proponent to the use of it, investing in a costly slider and if the slider itself gets damaged during a fall, that's quite costly when compared to some of the parts itself. Though they save the panels from mild falls, tip overs and slides and what not. In case of a bigger blunt to the sliders, they can with them all that's bolted along with themselves.

                                Cheers!
