    I guess it was me[emoji3]
Remove the cct, retract the shaft a few times and then put it back( don't forget to retract the shaft completely before putting it back) after putting it back, unscrew it, it'll push the tensioner component as required. This worked on my bike! No more rattle at 3.5k

Great, now could you post some pictures if you can of what you did. It will be of great use to everyone.

I guess it doesn't work all the time, but at least we can try before we buy a new CCT.

        Yeah sure bro!
The cct has two bolts securing it. Remove those two completely, pull out the cct. There is an allen bolt in the center, just open it up, you will find a flathead screw inside. Using a screwdriver, just screw and unscrew this a few times, this will retract the spring loaded shaft. Keep it retracted, after turning the screw completely (shaft completely in) just hold it like that or turn the screw a bit more which will keep the spring compressed. Now put the cct back, secure it by those two bolts. Now using flathead driver, unscrew the shaft screw. This will push the shaft against the component completely. Put back the allen bolt. That's it. This worked for me and the sound completely vanished..
Here is the link to the post where i have tried to explain the cct function; http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/showthread.php?p=1301428

Bachoo Motors are the one of the official importers of the LV exhausts in India, and yes they are 100% genuine and not first copy. They provide the bill, and all manufacturer legit documents along with the exhaust. Though after service can be a bit cumbersome, for the most part they ship real fast.

            Cheers!

So I did my first long ride on cbr250r from Noida to chandigarh and would like to share my experience:

              1. I rode for 270+kms with 1 stop and no back pain apart from numbness in my right arm which I got rid of my moving my fingers while riding. It is really comfortable once you get used to it. The first day I rode it I found the posture to be too much leaned forward (as I was coming from a commuter bike) but now it feels upright and comfy so long rides won't be a problem.

              2. Comfort of the rear seat is best in class. Cushioning is just perfect both for pillion and rider. Though my butt had pain somewhere after 150 kms but back was ok. It might be coz I have not done long rides so far.

              3. Engine is a gem!! Was cruising between 85-95 km/hr and not a single sign of stress from the engine. It was really windy which caused bike to swirl around a little bit. We were going against the wind so I didn't pushed much. I took her to 110 and it the engine was calm and handled the speed easily. The bike was stable as a rock even at 110. No vibrations even at 110 kms/hr tell you how refined the bike is.

              4. Mileage: i refuel 7.8 ltrs before leaving and that time the fuel bar was blinking and by my estimate it had somewhere about 2-2.5 ltrs so bike has 10.3 litres approx. My trip shows 274 km after that and when I reached home in chandigarh the fuel bar just then came down from 3 to 2 bars which I'm estimating will have 4.5-5 litres remaining. That way it comes down to 10.3-4.5(taking least into account) which is 5.8. So the total trip consumed 5.8 litres of petrol and ran 273 kms. Which shows mileage of 47km/ltr[emoji15] [emoji15] ...i might have given wrong estimate of remaining fuel but if that's true it is just amazing.

              5. Brakes: coming from a 15 year old commuter bike which had drum brakes, the brakes in cbr inspire so much confidence that you're not afraid to pull the throttle. Mine is ABS version. The brakes are really good and the initial bite is rock solid.

Other than that i did not face any single issue. Mirrors are wide and really good for highways. Really happy with this machine.

One method you can use is this. Tank full, reset your trip meter, start riding, and when the low fuel warning comes, measure the amount of fuel in liters and divide. For example if you've run close to 390 KMS divided by 9 liters, you get 42.2 KMPL.. Though your mileage may vary. But this is a pretty accurate measurement.

                  Cheers!

My estimate was rough as of now. The fuel bar is at 2 right now. when it starts blinking again, i will get a pretty accurate figure coz when i refueled it was blinking then too.

                      Hello!

I am about to change the front brake pads on my Cbr(non abs). Any suggestions on aftermarket brake pads. Has anyone tried nikavi ones which are available on amazon? I guess the pads on the 150r are also a direct fit. Has anyone used them before? How is the bite, feel?

                      Thank you.

Was* using one, freeflow one. Sounded bassy in the lower revs. Felt like it's improved but it ate up the top end. It's good for short city rides but long rides can be irritating, depending on your own capability...

Do you have its video or something
You put a branded one or a replica?
Is there any difference in fuel efficiency

It was an Akrapovic replica. I don't have a vid as of now but am planning to install a Delkevic full system next year.

Am worried about the sound level, it might attract dogs and police :P
