Re: Honda CBR 250R
I uninstalled the after market one just cuz of the police. In my hometown, it wasn't a problem but I wasn't sure about Mumbai police and didn't want to take any chanceOriginally posted by bondarun View PostAm going Leo Vince GP Corsa slip-on.. There is offer going on in Bachoo motors..
Am not going to take it to highway any soon.. most of my rides will be inside city only..
Am worried about the sound level, it might attract dogs and police :P:D

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Yes that's the issue , db killer considerably makes the sound bassier n quieter , cause I rode a impulse with a karizma engine, it had a free flow exhaust with a db killer, it was smooth and not loud at all, only slightly in the higher revs.Originally posted by Siddhanth Paul View PostI didn't. Thus, it was pretty loud

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Well, I'm surely gonna look for one with a removable, or better/possible, permanent Db killer. Cuz if it's too loud, it tends to get irritating. And single cyls. can't get any better sounding :/Originally posted by Deathwing View PostYes that's the issue , db killer considerably makes the sound bassier n quieter , cause I rode a impulse with a karizma engine, it had a free flow exhaust with a db killer, it was smooth and not loud at all, only slightly in the higher revs.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I know ! Also get a fuel controller if your using it for a longer period, I did consider one but stuck to stock for reliability also I guess I never got around getting an exhaust , did a test on a temporary one which was a rough made exhaust, low end improved but top end suffered due to stock ecu , but certain things like making a difference in traffic, people hear you coming, low end torque, lighter weight helps. But sound, I can't comment on smoothness, after switching exhaust back to stock , stock feel super smooth because of not being used for a while. But yeah fuel controllers in india we have race dynamics with piggyback and custom maps for various uses , and others like dynojet, bazzaz which are from abroad but similarly or slight more expensive.Originally posted by Siddhanth Paul View PostWell, I'm surely gonna look for one with a removable, or better/possible, permanent Db killer. Re: Honda CBR 250R
I was in a doubt regarding the fuel controller and the ecu cuz my budget is low, around 20k, as of now.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostI know ! And yeah, shifting from aftermarket to stock, the stock one is more soothing to the ears and the note feels very smooth.
I was also thinking that if I'm able to maintain this bike for 7-8 yrs. more, I'll make it a project bike. *Just saying*
I'll then mod the bike from ground up, only on the condition that I have at least 2 bikes more.
Some of my thoughts include-
1. Quickshifter (saw one around 15k, after converting from $)
2. Rear seat cowl
3. Double bubble windscreen
4. Lightweight rims
5. Full sys exhaust
6. Proper ECU tune
7. After market clipons and rearsets
8. Lightweight fairings, if available:D

Thats over kill for this bike.. I usually upshit without using clutch and downshift without clutch some time. But on NS i had to use Clutch no matter wat.
2. Rear seat cowl
There are plenty available online already..
3. Double bubble windscreen
Aliexpress has them, but i advise you to get a good branded one.
4. Lightweight rims
5. Full sys exhaust
Try Blackwidow exhaust, they have full system for around 20k but u need to keep an eye on custom charges.

7. After market clipons and rearsets
