Slip on right? If you want maximum performance you need a ecu remap. Im not sure about its reliability but a friend of mine toured on his cbr which had a full arrow system, faced no issues. Without a remap tho,

• Re: Honda CBR 250R Rear brake piston stuck

guys so I changed my CBR's rear disc pad today morning. (Used P220s brake pad)
Also I have topped up the brake fluid with TVS Dot 4 oil.

Went home and bike rested for 4 hours and evening when i pushed back the bike from parking and it was really tough for the bike to move.

I sensed something wrong with rear brakes and called my mechanic to come home and he diagnosed that Brake piston is stuck.

what could be the reason for this situation?

will cleaning the caliper and piston can resolve it or should I change any parts?

sstherockz - I think the stuck rear brakes piston is responsible for your brake pads wearing off so quickly. However I am baffled by the fact that the piston got stuck so early. My front brake pistons got stuck only after 4 years, that too after riding in rain, Chennai flood and open parking.

It's better to change the pistons if there are any marks on it and make sure the mechanic greases them.

Yes, we do have a partially or a fully seized piston. A faulty piston cannot fully retract and cause grabbing of the pads, as you've pointed out, the tightness or stiffness that you faced while moving the bike. Get your calipers removed, replace the piston seal, lubricate the pins, de-rust the bleed nipple bolt. A caliper overhaul is warranted.

Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Hi guys!
Has anyone installed LED bulbs for the turn signals? If yes then can someone tell me about the relay you guys are using to prevent hyperflashing?
Thanks!

Happy to share about the installation of LED Aux lights on my CBR. bala13 was kind to offer his Nameplate Aux Lamp Mount. Procured the Aux lights from Nanapet. Light output is really good. But strictly No in city roads.

They say one invents and the other improves. How true! By far the best LED mount setup for the CBR. Sits flush, especially the oval lights doesn't bulge out looking awkward and blends with the body of the bike almost perfectly and that bar mounted on the name plate is quite a simple yet clever idea. I hope the bolt and nuts that hold the bar to the license plate holder are strong and fastened well.

You can use normal LED flasher relays sold in the market. You get LED relays when specifically asked for them, else they'd usually give you the normal relay. Though I am not so sure about the technical name if any.

It's just came out from rear mud guard n seems to be connected with chain.
I think it's affecting my chain, chain makes noise of "KHATT" when bike goes to pothole, also when down shifting the gears.
Going to service center tomorrow but need some guidance over this.

Its the rubber chain slider. You can get it replaced at service centre

That's the chain sliders if I am not wrong.

Check thoroughly why it tore apart like that and replace with a new one.
