Thank you; Though I'm using this for over 3 years now, I wouldn't recommend this method as its little risky.

Me too using a car jack to lift the rear wheel, but I use the jack on right end of the swing arm and use the side stand for left side support.

This setup is more balanced but the rear wheel will be just above the ground to rotate freely.

I tried the way Aargee have done to raise the front wheel but so far cannot find the right position to raise the front wheel.

Any one tried raising the front wheel using a car jack??
aargee: cleaning is perfect, I have spent hours sometimes to clean the chain, but cannot reach this level of cleaning :thumbup:.

Quite risky as the engine & weight is more inclined towards front; MAY BE, try jacking right down at the exhaust underneath the engine; little risky though.

Thank you, it took < half hour & I'm sure it will take <15 min if all the accessories are kept handy, trust me
Probably because its a 6219 (precise) Km new chain, changed on 27-Feb including the sprocket assembly; it was lubed once after 3132 Km usage & after that only now, which is after 3087 Km; the chain started squeaking after 1850 Km & have been riding with chain squeaking for 1237 Km. May be it gets bad after 10000 Km of usage.

So, at my 2nd and 3rd run I kept the headlight ON for 200kms and kept the Headlight OFF till next fuel bunk which is 70-80kms more (This was done in broad day light !) And the bike Started at the 1st crank and it was all normal again. Can someone please help me with this issue ?
few coils of the stator plate was burned due to which Battery was not able to get enough voltage while the headlight was ON and engine was running above Idle RPM.
I ordered 2 spare keys from the SVC and it costed me 290 rs per piece . I am attaching the pic of the COMP no of the KEY incase someone else need to order it!

This is even more dangerous than fixing the can!! Atleast with the can, there're no baffles & the exhaust flows out free & the threats are with animals on the road & our good old public servant who're the "saviour" of the law!! When the air filter box is altered, the entire cylinder is bound to get a free flowing dust & other pollution causing more damages to the combustion chamber & to the entire intake manifold. I would avoid it.

The slightly better method, but personally not tested, method is to opt for a piggy back ECM from Power Commander.

Getting a few can for myself & friends at much lower price than MRP; if you're interested, we can take it forward, but I'm not sure how to get it across to Trivandrum. Had it been 2 weeks ago, I could've delivered it personally, but I don't think I'll be visiting there anytime soon. So if you're able to figure out logistics, I can help with the product.

You got to the remove the whole swingarm to replace the chain.

Was afraid that would be the answer. How do you keep the bike lifted? Coz paddock stand is used with swing arms.

I dont know... Owners might help. But i would recommend to get it done at SVC since its not an easy DIY.

Well once we remove the complete rear wheel
set, then chain can be slided out right, I have not tried it but in theory it should work( Engineers thinking)

Not possible to slide the chain out. The frame is outside the swing arm.
