    Actually weird thing happened few days ago. I punched a sudden brake on high speed and from then on-wards it started making noises.
    after that incident the bolts attached to disc brake pad were gone and disc caliper was stuck on disk some how. Got the bolts fixed from local shop but disc was scratched luckily it was due for replacement.

      due to replacement ??? how many km have you done ?? did you get the disk checked if the wear and tear is in tolerances ??

        Recently got my starter component replaced under warranty. My bike is more than 4yrs old. I had extended warranty. All the service done on time paid off!! The price for of the part was 3500.

          Saved nine! Were there krrr krrr noises present when the starter was pressed or it just spinned freely without cranking the motor? BTW, was the starter motor alone replaced or were the reductions too replaced?

            The problem was not sound or something. The problem was that my battery was not getting charged. The part replaced was 31120-KYJ-901

              I was confused, since you've mentioned starter comp, it was actually stator comp! Makes sense now, yes stator is what charges your battery.

                Not because of replacement it happened because sudden braking. I have done around 40k and disk is I guess some 20k old. I became very thin almost 3/4th of original size.

                    Yes, they do for most service centers, have got spares over the counter from all svcs i have been to , that is from different states too.

                          Hey guys and gals. My console lights are on the fritz. The left side flickers and sometimes doesn't turn on. Any way I can get just the lights changed without changing the console?

                            IIRC, I think I read someone who's made a jugaad fix for a similar kind of issue, replacing the LEDs on the console. Kindly search the thread, in the mean time, I'll try sourcing the link.

                                That's great. And yes that chunk costs 6k IIRC, and I'd suggest you to take it a guy who deals specifically with PCB because these LEDs require some correct positioning and a steady hand. Screw up and you screw the whole unit. Just my two cents!
