Nah, never had the sticking problem , and brakes are pretty silent too.

      • Ladakh Trip Help

i am riding to ladakh on 20th june.. hyderabad to delhi as per the new plan... in train and then riding to manali-leh-ladakh- delhi...

the tyre has done 8-10 k since new and have had a single puncture. grip wise the grooves and tread is pretty much decent however
wanted to know if its safe to take the bike to the trip else change the tyre. i have had no air loss since that puncture but worried if it runs flat and what possibilities to get a tubeless tyre in ladakh or to repair it. incase it goes flat..

Tubeless tyre punture repair kit along with Fevibond might help. That too if you are carrying footpump along with you !

i am carrying footpump+ repair kit as mandatory..
but what options we have in ladakh if i run flat and tyre is beyond repair. do we have any shop which can accommodate at least a tyre change.. worst case...
if not stock size.. anything of 17inch rim...

NOTE : might not be an actual suggestion !!! How abt keeping tyre tube of that size along with you. If anything goes wrong tyre with tube might work.

Try to get hold of a bottle of 'slime' sealant or similar stuff and use that in your tire before you start off. Just an extra level of protection
Used to be available on flipkart/snapdeal, don't see them now though. Maybe you could ask in some bigger tire showrooms like 'Mohsin Ali Mulla Fida Ali' at Panjagutta or car accessories shops

seems a very valid suggestion.. i'd keep one for safety

yeah.. this seems to be the best solution.. i'd try to get this done.
any idea how is it done ? pressured through the air hole after removing the valve.. ?

yes its injected thru the valve.. no need to remove tire. There is also a self use canister that you can use yourself to inject it.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Now for a query, has any one here designed or seen a luggage carrier or say a fuel can holder type of mod on the CBR? Planning to get Lehed and the tank range of CBR seems insufficient for few of the routes I have in mind. Any ideas on this? I have saddle bags and if there is no way, I will have to fit the cans in the saddlebags. So I want some ideas to save up on space to fit the other necessities.
