I got a news from a honda dealer New face lifted cbr250 will be launched in April and booking will start in march ending. I didn't ask this, he himself told me. So i guess he is telling the truth. Wait for a month or two.
Any news of it being a 250 or 300 or anything on the pricing??

Too many speculations flying around on this, none worth being trusted, so all we can do is wait and see.
It's sad to see Honda being so lazy on this. Updates should have come way back itself.
Thanks mate! I certainly wont be using it just for the commute so will probably stick to air for now then.

Another question- the saree guard on the bike looks rather ugly. Is it against the law to get it removed?
Yes, You can remove the saree guard. Its not against the law. Most of us in this forum have got rid of it. Who wears a saree on a sports bike.. unless its a girl you are dropping at a formal function :-) which is not that often.
Perhaps some update on the tires would be helpful. Have Honda replaced the Contis for MRF or any other in the 2015 models, that'd be one thing to jot down. Keep us posted on that front.
Cheers!

Replaced with- MRF RevZ fc (Good) Current

Appreciate the thoughts. Perhaps my apprehension is, are you sure the CBR250R production is stopped? Just a week back, I happen to visit a Honda A.S.S and indeed bookings are open for the CBR250R with refreshed paint jobs. The manager a nice chap, though totally uninformed, we had a fireside chat regarding the upgrades, which, again, obviously he was totally clueless to, but he's just said, waiting period would be 1 to 1.5 months for the CBR 250R and there was no mention of the production being halted. Are we being trolled here?
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Yes the production has stopped.
The showrooms are just clearing up the stock by moving their products from different places in their godowns to the ones that have booking.
CBR300R and the CBR650F will be launched around third quarter, not the CBR250R

I am sorry, but, just questioning the authenticity, my wits just can't come to norms, where did you get that info from? Any inside information from the Honda chaps themselves? Perhaps I am just getting a hard time getting my head around this. The A.S.S report, "Saar, the CBR250 is still in production" and here it's the other way around. I mean, any concrete hands on insight as to where that source emanated from. I see numerous 3rd P websites reporting about the stopped production for CBR, but the company press and website says otherwise. Would you care to throw in a little more color?
Cheers!

Getting mixed news about this. Some say it has stopped, some say it will be renewed. They have definitely not stopped booking them so production cannot have been completely halted.

My thoughts exactly. But this mixed bag results do bring out the "DERP" in me. Fact is, their website is still up and running, no official press release from Honda yet. I guess, we'll have to take it with a bit of fairy dust for now.

The SVC managers in my area said it to me. And in a nearby place also same news from the manager.
They are pushing CBR150R instead with the excuse of shorter waiting period.
Visited the nearest Honda A.S.S in Ooty, and chaps here were as usual, totally clueless as to what's going with Honda. Inquiring the Service Manager's number, it was about time, I spoke to this gentleman. Again pretty sad to see, he was totally uninformed about the updated CBR, but he reaffirmed all by himself, that the 650F launch is around the corners. Who cares! Well duh -- me thinks, not worth the paisa pay.
Awkward Moment 1: Couple of minutes later, he's still trying to cock it out says that CBR 250 production hasn't stopped, but when enquired upon any time-frame or when I can get the color I like, he was like, sir we'll have to search for your color with other dealers and then ship it to you! There you have it! So if production is on, why in the world would they take 2 months to get it from some dealerships whereas they can get it from the factory.
So either, he's hesitant to delve a little deeper about the launch or he's clueless about the folks in A.S.S. But he's promised me that he'd be heading to Gurgaon in a couple of weeks, and will keep me updated on all the inside info, hopefully, fingers crossed.
For now have deposited 1L in advance for the CBR 250R, waiting period is, well...
All the bells and whistles are pointing in the right direction.
As for me, the drama begins.. This is going to be TOUGHER than I thought.
Hail Mary!
Cheers!

Sir jee i thought you were more inclined towards RC390 after the D390!!
Once you get the CBR I'll poke many questions towards you[emoji13] as i am also in a search of a worthy P220 upgrade!!
Is anyone using saddlebag on the CBR? What are the options. I don't want to go for viaterra claw. Recently I saw a fellow Duke rider got himself a viaterra saddlebag custom made for Duke. Do we have any such viaterra product for CBR? What are the other options other than Cramster Colt.

HiAvenger88,from your post it seems that you have used the Dunlop Tuff Grip for only 4,700 Kms and replaced it with Michelin. are you currently using 2 different rear tyres(with separate rims for different purpose) little bit confused.
