Lol!!! No offense Usman. But I'm very very glad that you got the point on the question
Excellent!!!
Try & see if you would be able to remove that one without damaging the tank, it wouldn't serve the purpose.
But, shouldn't you be the one to have plonked the tank pad? Or...was it not put up in your presence?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

@Usman... No offenses bro. That red rear foot pegs, clutch lever etc. really don't suits the bike. it wouldn't have been better if its silver(just my thoughts)
. Also as @argee said what's the purpose of the tank pad

Jokes apart... Nothing personal

Hi guys,
I had a small crash on my cbr and damaged my left RVM (rear view mirror) and need to replace it. I was wondering if any other bike's RVM is a good fit for the CBR like fazer, P220, RTR etc. Any help appreciated.

Dealership experience
Problem sortedOriginally posted by aargee View Post
Sry that i ignored your question in the first place; But unless we hear, its extremely difficult to suggest other than lubing. Had I been there, we could've met there during a weekend.
... It is indeed lack of lubing and a special thanks to youngking
and aargee
Also guys I would like to share bad experience with my dealer BALAJI HONDA...
Before that
Manager of that showroom is very very good guy and more knowledgeable unlike the rest and he was not present during the entire scene as he was out of station !
I got my CBR on 10/july/2011 and I took the bike before registration ( it was an auspicious day ) and was told by the manager that I could register it either on 12 july or 14th july..
The real pain starts now ..
I called up the dealer on 9th July told them to fit the mirrors and saree guard and they have agreed to it . The next day I went to pick my bike ... I found none of these not even FOR REGISTRATION . I dint pester them much as it was sunday ( their showroom is closed ) and also I was exicted to ride back home .
On 11th of july I called them and enquired about the registration ... and they said few documents are still pending from their end and they promised me to register on 14th July
On 13th July I called them again and asked about the registration they said they would do it on 15th
On 14th July I called them up and they have confirmed its on 15th so they asked me to come to the RTO office which is nearby my place
On 15th July 9.00 am I called them up and told them I am waiting in the RTO office and the agent still dint recieve any papers and they said the documents are on the way and I was waiting there ...
Again the agent called up the dealer around 11 am and surprising that they havent even sent any documents and the agent got pissed off and started talking rough with them and the dealer ensured that it will be sent immediately
Again the RTO agent called up the dealer aroundd 12.30 pm ...and one of their staffs havent even started yet .. REASON " DOESNT KNOW THE ROUTE TO REACH THE RTO OFFICE "
The RTO agent then told me ... its not possibke to have the registration today .. I will collect the documents from the dealer and will register it on MONDAY 18th JULY
My dad and myself were so disappointed with the dealer and my dad really had to give his peace of mind to the dealer ... So he called up personally to the dealer and requested for Owners number and he gets a shocking reply .. Sorry sir we dont disclose the owners number and my dad asked whats your name ?? and they dint reply at all .....
Somehow my dad got the owner's number and gave few strong words and the owner was polite and understood we were totally cooked under the sun !! and surprising that their staff's still not yet started with the documents !!

And my Dad and myself we came back home ... called up the owner and told ... we will come today for the fittings and collecting other documents and please keep it ready ... and the owner first hesitated that only after registration he would be able to produce all these ... but my dad insisted that it was not his fault for what his staffs have done .... and the owner agreed to it finally .
So I personally went there to collect all these ....
Here's another shocker .....
The gave the the mirrors to me ... I was like " what in the blue world " and they asked me " Oh sir you want us to fit these ???? " I was like nope going to donate all these to charity ...
Extended warranty is missing and I asked them to give it .. and they have an huge argument with themselves that cbr has extended warranty or not and they tell me sir CBR doesnt have extended warranty .. I was like " Oh .. then I paid 1200 Rs extra ... do you mean its a tip for you ?" Then the gave the extended warranty book and I couldnt really figure how could this be mine ... and I asked them .. this book has no details mentioning any name whatsoever .. how can I insist that this is my extended warranty when I face any problems in the futur ... They took the extended warranty and saw that there was NO paper attached to it mentioning the name , engine no , chassis no .. etc
Then they messed up with the service manual ... by writing wrong information ..
Last but not least ..... I am totally disappointed that I have bought a bike worth 1.6 L ... and they have not even gifted a keychain ... ( shows their attitude )
I do understand ... Humans make mistakes .. but not all the time ... it shows how unprofesional they are ! Staffs lack basic knowledge .. They should know their product much better than customers ..!!! Honda again is not a third rated company as I mentioned by before in my earlier posts .. but by doing all these things make worse and am very much sure ... most of the buyers are not happy with the way they get their treatment from their dealers
Having said that ... I simply love my machine .. and Honda should end their atrocities and start respecting their customers !Last edited by srivaatsav; 07-22-2011, 03:22 PM.

Buddy can't remove that as the tank pad would damage the laker underneath it and that area would look patchy. And as I already told you buddy its serving its purpose of safeguarding my tank so no issues with it at all. Regarding its fitting it was my mistake to let him fix it but I got little lazy may be as the guy selling it himself asked me should I put it for you So I let him fix it.Originally posted by aargee View PostLol!!! And Binoy no offence intented but its your Personal choice. I liked the red 1's more because it goes with the overall bike combination of Red & silver much better

Fazer & R-15's Mirror does'nt fit in CBR. Have tried it. Only ZMR's Mirror might fit CBR.Originally posted by jerk View PostHi guys,
