Looks like you still have life left in it. Some more treads left in the tyre.

But if you feel you're losing grip, either your tyre is old or you just have that thing in mind that you're losing grip. In both cases, it is better and safe to replace the tyre with a new one.

The tire looks like it still has some life left, but if you don't feel confident riding on those, better replace them and have peace of mind.

Usually a R15 tire lasts anywhere between 25-30 k kms, depending on how you ride. I ride mine like a grandma and have done nearly 30k kms on stock tires and they still give me the grip I need, even on good speeds. So i'll keep riding them for a little more time before I finally replace them. Its all up to you and your requirements.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

I need one help. I removed ignition coil and tested the primary & secondary wires, as well as the primary & ground wires, values are coming like this. Should I replace the coil or keep it?Click image for larger version

This is what your Ohm values should look like, according to the manual. Too high or too low, it's time to replace.

Did you have any trouble with your ignition coil prior to this check?

Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

THE END

Yes, daily it is taking long crank then starts after coughing like starting after 10days or more, this happens in daily morning, and frequently when starting at office parking lot in the evening, so I thought trying to test the resistance (Google helped), after ruling out Injector Clogging-Spark Plug-Battery Voltage-Fuel Pump etc.
And, after removing, I sprayed very less amount of diesel (no other option available today at home), and cleaned the terminals & installed it, Bike started without delayed cranking, like "Fine", if tomorrow same drama happens, I have to replace it because, 2.8ohms is slightly more than 2.64ohms (upper limit) & 16.16 kilo ohms is also more than 12.96 kilo ohms (upper limit).
Thanks again B7ACKTHORN

I used the dipstick method. It's eating around 100ml at around 1.5k kms at harsh riding.
And also m getting some black smoke at hitting the rev limiter. What could it be?? I am thinking that carbon has build up in the silencer.
Rest i have done 200km ride on it nonstop without any problems no white smoke or drop in performance or whatsoever.

Black smoke when revving the nuts of the the motor is normal, a whiff of black smoke is normal when revved excessively. What one shouldn't see is the white smoke eitherways which would mean, we have a leaky piston/ring set and that's required to be replaced. Most manuals say bikes consume 100 ML/per 1000 kays which again is also normal. I don't think your bike has any issue, for the most part.

Cheers!

When you hit the limiter spark gets cut off and the un-burnt fuel detonates outside the cylinder and hence you get some smoke.

Update on my bike.
Kms covered 145000 excluding first meter reading.
Engine -stock
Chain-changed to rolon and the chain is surprisingly good and sturdy.
Cone set- fed up with the garbage bearings. Ate another set.
Tyres- bald
Electricals- developed a mind of their own..wiring has too many cracks..have ordered a wiring set.
Compression and oil consumption is fair enough.

Oil- Rimula R4. The oil is awesome till 1500 kms post which it's desperate. Suit me fine at its cheap.

Parts to be changed soon
Clutch housing
Spark plug

Wiring harness
Tyres
Cone set

I wish to see you keep running this one hopefully till my grand and immediate litters get their nupital vows done. That apart, regarding the stem bearings, why not try the tapered ball bearing setup. IIRC, a guy has done it sourcing the bearings and it seems the feedback is great. Hope to see the the third Golden Jubilee.

Guys, for past few weeks my throttle is not rolling off smoothly. I mean if I roll on the throttle and then leave it, 2 times out of 10 it does not roll off like a spring but gets stuck at the same position. Its not too trouble some, but I wanted to know if there is some cleaning or DIY that I can do to fix it myself.

I couldn't find any DIY thread on this, so if there is one, please point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
