    It's recommended to do a compression check a first step, and check if it's in the right spec. Compression check must be when the engine is mildly warmed up. Check the reading and do let me know.

        Guys, I want to replace my brake fluid, How much brake fluid will I need to bleed out both the brakes?
        There are 100ml and 250 ml packs of DOT 4 from various companies on sale. But I'm not sure how much to buy.
        Please advise. Thanks for the help.

          250 ML would be more than enough for both bleeding and then refilling the system both front and rear. The rest you can keep it for top us, in case required. Don't get the 500 ML. 250 ML would suffice.

            -Do the yamaha showroom peeps give any type of warranty on the engine that they rebuild?
            -What's the rebuild cost of engine of r15 v2? -Anyone who has done rebuilding their engine?
            -The cost of rebuilding aworking engine like mine is working but eating oil and the cost of a seized engine is different or same?
            -Mine engine is eating oil from the last 7 months i am just topping it up and using it. Eating is almost the same i just need to do it around 500 kms. What you guyz suggest to do rebuild it or just topup and use it. No white smoke or drop in performance.
            Sorry for all those silly questions but please anyone can help me out as i am newbie to biking and don't know too much about bikes.

            And for the compression test bro actually the showroom in my city has shifted to another location i don't know it. But will search for it and definitely do a test in 2 or 3 days.

                Not sure about the rear on which bikes' will fit. You can try duke 200's length with yours. The length looks similar to the eye.

                          Yes. Steel braided lines do not expand or swell when pressure is applied over time. They are more durable and flexible, provides ample bite and doesn't give a spongy feeling like the rubber ones.

                          Also, if you are a track guy, you will definitely like the feel of consistent braking that steel lines provide.

                            Yes, Iam using Duke 200 rear brake lines.
                            No, they are not the same length. The Duke line is longer. If you have the rear fender may be you can route it through the extra clamps. I don't run a rear fender so I had to route it inside the swing arm cavity. My rear rubber lines had almost swollen twice the regular size hence I got Duke 200 lines from a scrapyard. I am happy with it. Completed almost 25000 KM's on it.

                            Life is not easy.

                                If you don't mind mud splatter on your shoes and pants, then sure you can take the rear tyre hugger off. I do too, but to end up putting it back come rainy season.
