Cant really say what the problem would be but if it happened after the first service then its obviously the items they checked and adjusted. Why don't you take it back to the service station and have them rectify it? They should have adjusted the valve clearance & cleaned/adjusted the carb so I would have them redo these items again and see if it rectifies the problem. The valve clearances need to be adjusted when the engine is cold so be prepared for a wait. Ask them to blow the carb with compressed air and take it from there.Originally posted by abid567 View Post
Check you idle speed, it should be 1400 rpm (+/- 100 rpm) when the engine is warm.
From what you describe it could very well be the choke stuck in the open position, try and screw it out and screw it back again. You will need to get the carb out for this.Last edited by Gyroerror; 10-09-2012, 09:40 PM.Comment

already my bike is awaiting its 2nd service any particular things i should ask to check the SVC guys also while going through bad roads[almost every other road in Kolhapur is bad
] the rear end makes lot of sound i think those taillamp assembly is the culprit any suggestion

MC helmets only for offroading
I bought the same helmet, but it was very uncomfortable in highway / expressway riding, air blows in face also the visor shakes. Then I had to return and get a usual vega.
