well i don't own this bike bit so i cannot judge how good is this bike. yes i had a bad experience in Honda and Hero Honda showrooms. both were not interested in selling their products.
anyways regarding the idle rpm not remaining constant it is due to the fact that the tuning hasn't been done properly.

Well, an year has passed now since my purchase, 15th Jan 2012 - 15th Jan 2013, 10,000 Km were over by then.Lately I have been using my bike a lot less now, reason being my love affair has now turned to annoyance & plight.I got my 4th service done from Himgiri Delhi in December.. Well as usual it was a whole day long affair and nothing done other than wash-oil change- add a overpriced 3M additive (?) without my permission in the oil. My indicator LED on the speedo console was not working, they don't have spares for that. In the process of tinkering with it, they messed up my pilot lamp. I realised this after coming home. The bike vibrates as much as an Apache I guess (..and to think I used to make fun of TVS as Terrible Vibration System, my bad.)Idle speed hovers from around 900 rpm on cold starts to around 1900 rpm after 25-30 Km, sometimes I can even see the needle wobbling mindlessly when idle. Dunno why this issue is there.Since about 10-12 days I haven't even ridden my bike and taking the metro to college, reason: terrible wobbling & bumpy ride.Got pressure checked and stuff, it was fine. Then went to Divine Auto Noida (worst ever, I bought my impulse from there), reached at 8AM and my waiting no. was 32 LOL. After an hour or so, still no mechanics were to be seen and I tried to talk to a lot of people, none seemed interested. Then I met the "alignment guy" and he sad it would take atleast Rs. 500+ for looking at the wheel alignment.Came back frustrated, and referred to some local mechanic. He said your spokes are loose (strange, this hasn't happened in around 3-3.5 years in my friends' Avenger & Electra)I took it to a local 'expert' in sector-9 noida. He took 200 Rs., removed front wheel and tightened spokes on the rotary stand,, then could not remove the rear wheel and tightened spokes while tilting the bike on the side stand. Even then the job wasn't done properly. Turns out some spokes are broken. So much for an off-road bike, which has only been driven on Delhi's 4,6 laned paved roads TILL DATE.The mech recommends that all rear spokes be replaced. 36 new spokes need to be bought but no spares with Hero people as expected. I talked to Uppal Motors as well, and he was 'pissed off' that I asked such questions and almost shooed me off, telling me to call Divine Auto.I have lost the little respect I had for this company. They are doing us a favor with their so-called service. I have paid my money and hence now I am nobody to them.On a brighter side, my MBA is about to be over and in the 3rd semester itself I got placed s a Business Analyst in a reputed IT MNC. Will be getting a company cab to-n-fro office, might have to move to Bangalore though. I had thought of taking my motorcycle to wherever my job took me, perhaps even plan weekend tours in south India, placed I always wanted to visit.Sadly all my enthusiasm has died of late.My father is insisting not to bother with any more headaches, and put it up on OLX. I have 3 months of college still left, in confusion which decision to take. The company is deaf & arrogant as far as I have seen.
