Guys this is getting interesting & I am glad it is . Because at the end there is more true knowledge shared .
First of all " Ulta Matka " is not a bad word or a abuse it is just a phrase which simply means you cannot fill water in an upside down Pot even if you fill the Ganges in it .
I would not ever use abusive language as I am not in favour of it . So Chill .
Burnout you have a history of doing things that are harmful to the Impulse ( Please let me remind you of the crash guard shield which I had begged and pleaded you to remove to prevent damage to your Impulse engine that you had fit during the monsoons ) . Your lack of knowledge is understandable as everyone goes through that phase of learning .
The 90 No Oil is a very good solution for traditional chains but it is Old School ! When the 90 No Oil and water come in contact with each other along with the dust and dust particles that are attracted by the thick oil . It turns into a form of paste / Sludge / Grime . This will cause the chain to move in a stiff and awkward manner ultimately compromising the entire chain sprocket set causing early replacement . In case any of you feel it is easier to save money on Sprays .....please try arranging a chain sprocket set for the Impulse and if you do ;...get one for me .
God has been kind I have been able to ride extensively with Impulse riders who have taken part and completed the Raid de Himalaya and we have often sat and shared notes .
In conclusion all I am forced to say is : Those who do not appreciate knowledge that is shared and still argue and deliberately destroy their machines have no right to complain about bad service , bad quality ........in fact don't deserve such beautiful machines .
To more such healthy discussions .....

Though chain sprays like WRTH are tge best for use in summer and winter
Oil does not attract dirt, grease does.
And you talking about WD40, why don't you use it everytime for lubing and tell us what happens to your O rings.
WD40 is okay for linked type chains and has to be avoided for O rings.
And please don't use ulta matka and words like that, you all are my brothers, one sick word for a brother and we all rush in. We also have many more words in our dictionary to use, but we know what is decency in a public forum.
That makes the two of us.
You talking about moto gp, tell me how long is a moto gp race, not more than a day right. They lube the bike every for race and if you can afford to use such sprays everyday, then my friend you can buy a new bike altogether if you stop caring about the chain.
We know what is best. But we also know where we stand and what is the length of our pockets.

Lol, Timbucked2, have you EVER BEEN to school which teaches manners?
Btw, i would love to see you apply WD40 on your bike's o ring sealed chain.
You telling others about doing things that harm bike, and deserving and crap stuff?
Look at what you are doing, proving who is the real ulta matka here.
Knowledge is to be imparted in a decent manner, exactly opposite to what you are doing. We know "ulta matka" aint an abuse, but you are not supposed to point out a finger on an individual in a public forum. Grow up man!!
We all are brothers out here. We should be united, Don't use unnecessary words and spark clashes. It's better we bring this to an end.

          Hi Viks,

          Pardon my arrogance .

I Use WD 40 before applying Wuerth .

I am quite sure in couple of years you you will be doing the same I am doing with couple of amateurs .

          Cheers.

Also I realised you might have a closed Mind & fixed notion that WD 40 is what you get in the local Market .

Thanks pal. Seems like cleaning the chain without removing it is gonna be one hell of a job for me

Also i would like to give a review of chain sprays.
I have been using the Motul Chain spray since a year. Its an excellent lubricant for the chain but it attracts alot of dirt. During the non rainy seasons its very good and attracts lesser dirt as well also last more than 500kms easily. But during the rainy season it becomes one hell of a dirt magnet and gets the chain real dirty. Needs to be cleant atleast once a month in the rainy season. Im speaking of my personal experience and not quoting stuff frm else where so you can count on it

Thanks buddy for sharing ur experience abt motul, i shall try it too. I preferred oil not to save money but to escape the trouble of cleaning the muck that is created by adhesives in sprays.
Thanx aj, i'll try motul n share my experience soon.

From a spectator POV the chain lube discussion seems to be taking a very ugly turn. Keep it tidy guys...

Could we discuss bikes here as well? Or just swollen egos? Take your personal differences offline. It's very childish to throw tantrums in a public forum. And it's worse to take sides.

I agree that lube sprays don't last. But could someone tell me why they are manufactured for mass consumption? I'm sure there must be a reason. On the other hand, if wd40 and 90w oil was so great, there would be at least one company which marketed that as special chain lube, and we all would be loyal customers of that great product. I am willing to change whatever opinions I have if and when I'm given logical proof.

I dont think its original but if u like to put that one on ur bike, go ahead. I thought of putting them too once but then backed off as the stock ones r good too!

P.S. If stock ones can be removed without destroying them then only put new ones otherwise use the stock ones they r quite sober looking n functional.

                            Regards.

I feel a judder at certain speeds from the rear wheel. Has anybody experienced it? This usually happens if I try to accelerate hard. I need to decrease the acceleration and then slowly increase it again.

Oh! This is new, I have never experienced it. Was ur rear wheel removed or loosened up ever? Also check if the drive chain is loose.

Get the wheel re-fitted at an Auth Service center.
