    Those Impulse who want to install after market air filter ( K&N or cosworth) might be thinking to Rejet .

    So if any body has done already these changes can share your experience and jet size .

            saddlebags and tank bag also??

            saddlebags clearly mention 'use at own risk for impulse'.. so i was a bit skeptical..
            and tank bag mentions that it cant fit on tanks that have plastic fairings.. so does it hold on fine??

              I test rode an impulse yesterday...it was fun! The bike seemed very light after the behemoths that I owned before. It felt like a bicycle and I was able to push the bike back in reverse up a steep slope. I m not sure I ll be happy with the power on offer right now, but I m not power-hungry by any chance. I hardly crossed 100kph on my cbr250...

              Believe it or not.. Most roads near my home have been relaid afresh because of upcoming elections, so an impulse may be an overkill ...a zma or puls200ns may be ok. So, I m scratching my beard on what to buy.

              I test rode the bullet 500, conti gt and duke390.... My wife hated the duke390!!!! (ktm pls offer a comfy version), she loved the bullet500 (she even took a panning pic while I rode the bike). She felt the conti gt looked pretty but 6months wait is too long.

                Yes both hold perfect.

                The saddlebag is the colt model.

                The tank bag fits well all you need to do is just wrap the hanging tag around the handlebar. Will share pictures soon.

                  Has Anybody tried the Big Bore Kit from Joel or any other local big bore kit?

                  If yes how is the performance and would the front brakes be sufficient to tame the power increase?

                    I use cramster tank bag, it fits well.. but you need to fix it closer towards your jewels so that the handle bar movement is not disrupted.

                      Hello Dude, If you are riding always less than 100 kmph then Impulse is a good choice. And if you are thinking twice on its performance, then 200NS is a good deal. About Bullet 500 (I think you are talking about new carb 500 model), it is completely different bike altogether. It will be comfy, powerful, heavy and expensive as well when compared to Impulse/P200NS. Bullet scores more on touring perspective. Now Choice is yours

                        Impulse is fun to ride alone, with the pillion it looses balance and control.

                            i just did chennai ->bangalore and back last week....before going, i did the following
                            1. installed ngk iridiums and the spitfire cable
                            i feel idling is more stable.. no great boosts
                            2.removed an engine mud guard kind of thing that HERO guys gave me with the bike
                            now here is the deal, IF YOU GOT YOUR BIKE WITH A COMPLIMENTARY ENGINE MUD GUARD FROM HERO, TAKE IT OFF RIGHT NOW AND BURN IT OUTSIDE THE SHOWROOM AT NIGHT...
                            i was riding this bike at 75% of its capability until now.. retarded showroom guys

                            i have recently been facing a snoaring kind of sound from the engine when i try to accelerate a bit hard when engine is a little cool.. any ideas on this?

                            About the ride

                            i went via Vellore->Krishnagiri->Hosur->electronic expressway

                            the road is pretty awesome and you can really push hard.. there were stretches where i was maintaining 90 to 95 and max i pushed it to 105.. no unusual engine heating .. brakes are not as reassuring as i would like it at these speeds.. but everywhere you stop, get ready to tell everyone what mileage you are getting coz thats what everyone is gonna ask..lol

                            I returned via Kolar->chittoor->Bypass->Sri Perambatur..

                            Much better scenery and good dhabas..and some bad roads (feels good to ride these and chill while watching other bikers bounce up and down)..lmao

                            BTW has anyone noticed the weird shape of the chasis in the front near the engine opposite the horn.. it looks like its bent in.. i freaked out but saw it on other bikes like this one on google

                            (see near the joint between silencer pipe and engine).. what the hell is that?
