This seems like a nice mod & its attractive either

Anybody have done the same in our group?
Just a quick question. How many of u have successfully broken ur indicators in a crash?

I have dropped my bike few times in different terrains but my indicators have never broken till date. The stock ones r ugly but seems to be built to survive any crash.

I agree. My bike had two falls but the side indicators are still completely fine

it may be an option to replace indicator with this option, but i feel (personally) this integrated led mod looks cool and i would like it to be added additional to the stock ones.

This fantastic news... more powerful engine 250cc would be most welcome, more suspension travel on both wheels atleast 200+ and an option for knobby tires... also rims should be 18 rear and 21 front, this is the global standard for enduro bikes I think

Regarding cone, 3.8 and cone issue, i dont think so, you may try the following which helped me:
Loosen up the T ka nut a little (the big nut visible from top) after that, there is a round ring type thing with gaps exactly below the T bar, tighten that first (you will need a different kind of tool for that, my mech used a long screw driver and hammer to tighten it, you can use the tool used to adjust settings of rear suspensions of a honda stunner)
Once done, tighten the T nut (the one which we loosened a little at the beginning)
                Post your outcomes.

Thanks guys, I see that the khatak sound is apparently normal with this bike based on the info I found on this thread. Made small adjustment to the T-Nut and lower nut, it has reduced quite a bit...

Service Reset done via using the key on and off info provided by you guys. Thanks.

A quick update on the bike at the moment post some quick fixes
                - UNI 2 stage pod filter has been fixed onto the bike, but inside the filter box using the present hose. This made the engine rev a whole lot more crazy as compared to when the filter was directly bolted onto the carb and def a whole lot more better than with stock filter
                - A little tuning was needed, the previous owner had the mixture quite rich, so power loss was crazy during roll on acceleration
                - Nose cone has been tightened a little, made a difference alright.

My question now, despite having tightened the nut, I still find the handle dancing at speeds above 85 kms and during hard acceleration. Is this normal and can it be corrected?
on a never ending journey... a journey of learning!!

The handle sway is normal as the weight on the front wheel reduces during hard acceleration.

Has anyone changed their sprocket and chain? I need to buy one as the current ones are at the end of their life. Anybody in Bangalore??

Weird, where did you get it done from buddy, my impulse also needs sprocket replacement, and the asc said they can the sprockets and chain in 2 hours and will fix it in half an hour max. Told the cost as 1600. Also, original hero impulse chain sprockets readily available over the counter at alibhai marg, grant road for 1500. Im plannin to get a front sprocket of 19 teeth and rear of 45/47 teeth. Anyone has any clues on that?

Sprocket Calculator - the easy motorcycle sprocket and chain calculator

The link also say that the increase in speeds is just theoretical as the bike may not have enough power to reach the speed
