Meanwhile running this needle drop by shaving the flange top a little is a good idea going by no slots at needle top alike old carbs (which could have been more handy) is pretty appealing and will turn lean the mixture a lil more.

Had few worl done on friend's Impulse last week with cat and baffle tube removed and the foam filter installed...carb issues are yet to be solved on my bike. He asked for the 125mianjet which is on my carb...fine it would worked but upto an extent. So phasing out that option and as he was aiming for Sipti and Kunzum we had the 132jet wired for the meanwhile.
Consider using a karizma carb, it'll solve the problem

Just read this... Is it true that hero is testing 200 and 250 cc impulse?

Home-grown two wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp has lined up 35 new launches over the period of next three years. The new launches includes new Dash scooter and HX250R Motorcycle which were showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo and will be followed by Mastero Edge

No. Hero will not launched 250cc impulse in india instead of they will launch on-off roader (Adventure Sports) based on upcoming HX250R.

for many it might be a stupid question but i was wondering how exactly is the pillion seat for the pillion with respect to heating. Since the exhaust is so close, doesn't the pillion rider experience any heat?

No, the passenger is fine, no heat of any kind. We went on long rides (600+ km) and even then the passenger did not experience any inconvenience.

On another note, the driver's right foot is getting a little toasty from the clutch/gearbox assembly, and when you ride through puddles - water hits it and splashed boiling hot droplets on your foot.

In such a case what do we do of the TPS ? Is the Impulse TPS a straight fit on the Zma/ Unicorn carb ?

Guys i am thinking to add additional led cree lights on my impulse.
The problem is that impulse has ac power from alternator but the fog lights require dc current...does the fog lights light up on ac current..
And is it legal to add them on the crash guards..i don't want any cops to be a magnet who makes quick bucks...please give me some advice..
                        Thanks in advance.

Brother, there is a way to connect the LEDs without converting it bike to DC. As far as I know, the parking lights are DC.

As for the cops - any modifications to the factory lights etc., will give them a reason to ask for money. Do at ur own risk.

Connect it directly to the battery and give a separate switch to turn on the lights. No it won't discharge battery faster since they are LEDs and consume less power.

Did a quick test and found out that even the pilot lamps run on alternator...and wt happens if i do connect it to head light wiring instead of wiring it separately to the battery.
