It's not the clutch, there's no slip, it's the vacuum piston itself, I've removed and inspected it, the rubber diaphragm is damaged.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View Post

The engine revs freely in neutral, it struggles only under load, I've checked the vacuum piston, the rubber diaphragm is damaged.Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View Post

Why don't you try to get hold of used carb itself? Probably from a crashed bikeOriginally posted by 90octane View PostIt's not the clutch, there's no slip, it's the vacuum piston itself, I've removed and inspected it, the rubber diaphragm is damaged.

Thanks for the link on spares, I will look into it for sure (at my own risk) LOLOriginally posted by Divya Sharan View Post
Impulse rims are spokes, therefore it is not possible with these rims to have tubeless tyres. I know that BMW tourers have spokes and tubeless tyres, but Hero is a little behind BMW in this aspect.Originally posted by harshmane View Postshane#1 Want to know how you got fixed puncture ?

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
Hi guys, I visited hero showroom, Sai motors in Bangalore, enquiring availability of Impulse. The sales man enquired with his manager and told there is not a single Impulse available from showrooms in Bangalore. He also told there'll be new Impulse launched soon and he added there might be change in capacity and cosmetics. But I think it'll be only a cosmetic upgrade as per the agreement between Honda and Hero (this info was posted in this thread). I hope we don't have to worry about spares if Hero relaunches Impulse. Just keeping my fingers crossed.Originally posted by Krishna Gopal Das View PostI think impulse is a really great bike and despite having difficulty with spares (which can be resolved, mostly) you will have loads of fun on this bike. On and OFF road.

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
Changed engine oil in my impulse. Here in mira road, Mumbai no one keeps motul 10w30 grade. Even gulf is difficult to find in 10w30 grade. Only honda and veedol available. Local mechanics will suggest to put any oil without giving any thought to the recommended grade. They only want to sell whatever they have on shelf. My bike had already done 2000 kms on hero oil so could not wait more. Went ahead with veedol thinking that honda and veedol are same as manufactured by tide water oil company and the cost is also exactly same. I poured 1L oil. After 300 kms run, in my observation engine is heating up more then before and gear shifts are not smooth any more. I used honda oil before and never faced such engine heating and rough gear shifts. Is it because I put 1L and not 1.2L? I always used to put more then 1L every time. I think I'll change oil again after few hundred kms and will make sure I buy motul in advance either online or from outside mira road.
