Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
My carburettor is playing spoilsport yet again!! At times, the engine coughs like it's about to run out of fuel, doesn't rev beyond 65k rpm, I get overtaken by cattle walking on the road.....the culprit is the vacuum piston, which caused problems in the past and was replaced by the asc guys, now, they've run out of spares....can it be replaced with the same component from any other 150cc hero??

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
Last year's august month i replaced clutch plates of my impulse . It took 25 day and 6 complain email to zonal hero stockist to get my clutch plates. I got it installed at Hero's ASC and after installation when I took look on Workjob of part what i found it was not Impulse's CLutch plate but Hero Achiever's clutch plate.
Now after probable 7- 8 months I am facing same kind of issue...
Bike is not accelerated RPM is shooting up above 5k - 6k rpm but its not catching up speed. Please help friends ...

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
I don't have an answer to your question but I would think they are the same.Originally posted by sancreation View PostBro is the right side gasket same as hero xtreme's or does hero impulse have different gasket
sancreation
Don't worry too much about this. These gaskets need not be replaced, they can be re-used.
Get all the spares you need, have the right side cover opened with care, but buy an Xtreme's gasket just in case as a standby. Once opened you will find out anyhow - do come back here and let the rest of us know.
