Re: Long term review of impluse
When I went on a spiti valley trip in May this year, I got a cigarette charger fixed... this served 3puposes..1) it served as the point for using my air pump...2) cigarette lighter for my fellow rider since I dont smoke.. 3) phone charging point... I carried my car charger... make sure u use the above with the engine running only and gear in neutralOriginally posted by nganesh0402 View PostMods,
Kindly forgive me if this is irrelevant here, just in a urge asking this query:
Since we all do lot of road trip and at time we do not get place to charge our cellphone on an emergency. People who tend to have backup batter is different and for smartphone users I am and concerned and also curious to know on whether do we have any external charging point which could be connected to the motorcycle battery which allow us to charge the cellphone. I do understand adding external equipment with electricals is not recommended; but a simple USB port is not going to consume much from the battery. Any pointers on this appreciated !

Ganesh

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
Hello Naren,
May I know where did you fix this cigarette charger and the service center area details or even a local mechanic which you have given your bike; I don't want to give it to someone else who doesn't even know how to work on this? Else please let me know where to buy this online, thanks for your help

Hello,
I found this one by googling and its pretty good from the reviews:
My only concern is this has to be fitted properly and shouldnt damage/conflict with other electricals. Expert advice is much appreciated.
Cheers,

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
guys,
I think we should create a common shared spreadsheet like in google drive sheets with a list of original spares for impulse and their substitute from other bikes or hero or any other with the cost of the same, so that it can be updated regularly and be a reference for all the impulse riders
What say?

hello Rony,
Im Dragon_rider (Creative Designer) from bangalore.
Your situation reminds me of same situation i was at a point of time.
The day i started reading this thread and joined the Multinational Group of Impulsers.... (Proud to be one also)...
I joined the thread in June and booked it also. I too had same finance problem but this bike really made me work so hard that until my bday, i purchased it without borrowing a single rupee from anybody. This is my 1st bike with my own hard earned Money. And yes this is my DREAM BIKE. And really Proud to flaunt it...
Waiting for the happy news from u when ul upload the 1st pic of u on ur bike rite here on XBHP.
Keep Dreaming (Dreams are inspiration)..
Happy Riding bro...
Wel wishes n Regards

Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
Hi guys I,got some alteration done to the seat yesterday.I have been wanting to do this for a long time ,was busy at work. I felt the inclination in the middle of the seat was steep , uncomfortable and hard to grip. I got the front part of the seat flattened by adding foam. The sitting position is on the bike now rather than in the bike which I, find it to be a bit lazy position for a dual purpose motorcycle. Cost - Rs500[alteration and seat cover].It took two hours to get the job done.Last edited by SiDDi; 12-17-2013, 01:01 PM.
