Hey ya, we guys have been there on 4 bikes last Dec (I was on Unicorn)
Started from Bangalore --> Erode --> Kodaikanal --> Palani --> Valparai --> Sholayar --> Attirapally Falls --> Cherai --> Kozhikod (Calicut) --> Bangalore

What you said is 100% true, in Valparai we have been to Anna Malai Tiger valley; let me tell you there are NO roads at all, we all were travelling inside the deep forest only @ 5-10 Kmph and after we reached another checkpost inside a forest guard escorted us to a waterfalls where bathing is prohibited. What amused us is the temperature of the water it is @ 5 C despite of the outside weather at 35 C. Got to know that it is the place where one can see canadian cold fish in south India.
There the guard showed us the houses, electric poles destroyed by elephants and fresh dung there.

After that we left to Sholayar dam (Asia's 2nd deepest dam) there we stayed for a night and early in the morning we got a news that 2 died in the elephant attack, after we entered to Kerala border from Sholayar we were in a deep forest where only 4 bikes of our team rode the entire way there were the traces of elephant passing down hills and dungs everywhere... Before entering the border forest guard cautioned us not to stop the vehicles anywhere as chances are more of elephant attack and also warned us to not to create chaos if we encounter an elephant.

From there we reached Attirapally falls, took photos and had a bath..... And from there we left to Cherai stayed at a beach house there, very next day left to Bangalore via kozhikod --> Bandipur

I wudnt have accepted the delivery of bike without it. U won't believe I even got them change the complete speedometer after a week of delivery bcos of moisture accumulation, they argued u need to put cover on it. But I made them bend backwards....they don't understand simple language.

Hey dont spoil the rear of bike by welding something silly. Rear indicators r removable, its fixed with screws if u check it carefully.
Also there are LED indicators much smaller than Impulse's, just the other day i enquired about them - its price was 350/- a pair.

                            check the image..
