I never experienced my Impulse throwing dirt from rear to mess up my clothes or pillion rider's..that's a pure exaggeration.

Installed a Cosworth airfilter on my impulse... AFR tuned... and also replaced the spark plug with Bosch Platinum-Iridium plug..

yes it lacks the sports feel...

I have no idea wat were u thinking when removing the front fender of this beautiful beast. Now it doesn't look at all like IMPULSE.

Looks more like caliber 115 hoodibaba...
and plz dont spoil the look of the bike giving diffrent colour shades as seen above...

i'm afraid of that too.. planning to fit an extra pipe and get the filter inside the stock filter box...

no issues till now.. i wrap a plastic cover over the filter while washing the bike..

[ATTACH=CONFIG]112126[/ATTACH]dear friend bravlo...i get the feel when u ride impule..as i am a humble owner of this bike and 5 more bikes including royal enfield..i can proudly say impulse worth the money.no bikes in india in its price range available with srong steel wheels except impulse this time.companies give cheap alloy wheels to reduce the cost and buyers suffer it...but take it simple...its an off road on road bike wht company says..right? you can simply ride this bike on off road and on road too.but if u run this bike like a complete dirt bike style, i am 100% sure the bike will get ruined. forks are long but slim cannot afford long high jumps.( i am not talking about x games high jumps) but normal jumps& chassis is not srong enough too if u dont strengthen it by extra welding. Riding through mud and dirt or water,100% sure u will have to stop to clean ur face.. i have experience when i had a drive through thick long forest at normal speed level where we had to face the same dirt problem..mud sprayed on legs not a huge matter but on face its a big problem especially when we ride on dirt....i experienced it my friend...and i had the same problems on high ways too....that was the reason why i fixed a normal steel mud guard ..and i do the same off roading after fixing it....now there is no water,mud problem...now iam comfortable with my impulse.....i know most impulse owners dont like to remove that mudguard as it removes that sports off road thrilling look from it...at this point i agree 100% with u .i too felt sad to remove it but i had no other option....because i want to do pure off roading...and no time to stop and clean my face....if any impulse owners feel a different thought ,plz have a look at Adam Riemanns 4500 km adventure trip to himalayas with impulse(you tube).watch that video carefully how this mud guard gives him a feel where he drives through water and dirts and blocks his vision .......thank u all....

one more thing i agree....when we do off roading ...sure we have to suffer dirt mud water etc...thats what off roading means...but all off road bikes are not fiied with high fly mud guards..take a look at on road off road bikes in google images....take husqvarna.. a swedish on road off road bikes manufacturing company..thank u impulse lovers

guys been facing a strange problem of late, the bike was unused for 2 weeks and my bad as I left it in parking not under shade with heavy rains, the bike started after few attempts but has at times completely switched off no screen no kick-start working and the scary part is that it switched off while I was riding it in traffic somehow i was able to get away to side will be taking it to ASC soon when I get back to home[this time i have parked it in proper shade]

We here love riding not just to commute but for sheer fun of it and its a welcome change in biking scenario in india where some of us are growing over commuting mentality. Its not practical to buy a bike that dose not serve your purpose at first place. And then making it what you call practical.

No hard feelings dude... Just a simple suggestion to keep things simple. Better buy a commuter or a royal but not impulse because its for people who love mud and dirt....

yes brother ..thanks...i bought this bike only for off road purpose..not for racing...almost all 7 days in a month we do offroading in heavy thick forests filled with pretty difficult narrow hills,waterfalls, small canals,small streams..some times we fall from the bikes on slippery rocks,some times on narrow hills..some times vehicle trapped by tree branches...direct face to face meet with elephants..in the middle of the jungle not knowing the actual way to come out of the jungle...what a ride..these r the reasons why hero motocorp gave a slim design to impulse and most dirt bikes. now u got it why i removed that both fibre parts from the tank. it hits tree branches .i truly bellieve this is what off roading means that is wht riding and racing is all about ..not like putting the bike on the normal race mud tracks for one or two hour a day for liesure and enjoying the mud sprayed on our body and saying this is a mud bike and mud should be sprayed when we have a ride on it...... thanks dude....
