  • Re: Hero Impulse ownership experience

    hi everybody.
having an issue with my impulse lately.
apart from the tick-tick noise that most of us hear on rough roads, there is some other noise (khat-khat) coming from the front, whenever i bump into some potholes. any ideas?

remove the ropes.......... plz use nut and bolt and also add an extra nut n jamm ( chuk nut) it so dat it doesnt get loose.

if dat stil doesn work u can put 2 holes on either side in dat wheel hugger like how i have done n add more 2 small bolts so dat it fits firm.

(i have used a very thin bolt n nut in the top section where u can see a washer also, so stil shaking. need to put a little bit biger one so dat it fits tight.)

I too hav done the same mod. The ropes used are killing the looks of the bike. Drill in a extra hole and add an additional nut and bolt. The bolt need to be thin. I did it with three bolts only and its still very stable.

Incase u dont have a drill, heat up a thin bolt and pierce it through the mudguard to make the hole

Sure, lets meet this saturday at sai motors at around 2pm. I'll probably be going to JC road for my lid and then on to sai motors (where I dream that I will get same day delivery!!).

So how will I recognize you? Will you be wearing a rose on your lapel? Lets make the code word: Kala gulab!! No but seriously speaking, PM me your number so we can sync later.

                      Thanks.

What is the name of sales person whom u met???

Check if there is problem in carburetor as i had when they gave. If idlying goes above 1.7 range tel them ther is problem in it.

make sure u get the smal cover for the carrier. i had not got mine. and also buy knucle guard. it adds to the look to the beast
